  • Wish i had one of those

  • hey u interested in possibly selling this record???

  • Awesome quality, good song. :)

  • I love Benny Goodman!

  • What a fantastic disc. I've always loved this song and I am amazed at how perfectly this plays.

  • From the '36 klazzik "After the Thinman"

  • What nostalgia. Makes me wish I could have lived in that era.

  • Also, regarding her voice, it's a bit more natural--not as refined. Probably one of the best discs to hear of her is "Day In-Day Out" with Bob Crosby's band.

  • Nothing like a fine W-C slicer changer! I have this model. Someone pulled it from a consol. I'd like to build it into my car someday. Good song, too!

  • This is music to dance to!

  • Another version was sung in the film "After the Thin Man". My parents had an old 78 rpm recording of this song. Alwas loved it. Thanks.

  • @uslines ... Until now, I had only heard the version that appeared in "After the Thin Man"

  • omg, i never saw a slicer changer operate before and wow you got a working pickup cartridge it yours.

  • Wow! Helen Ward was a goddess, with that dark hair, big dark doe eyes and the voice of an angel. She was one of a kind, thank you so much for posting this rare song.

  • Maybe you had to be ogling this goddess to think her voice was any good, based on this track alone. The voice I hear here is embarrassingly weak.

  • Thanks! Brings back old memories of playing 78s. Orthophonic lable, too!
