i was dying to find out from what movie the sample (0:00) of this track was taken from...hours later finding out and watching the movie, it ended up being my favorite movie of all-time lol (=The Education of Sonny Carson).
Bigjohnweh I hear ya altho i agree with everyone else on this one. All of One Be Lo's solo albums (except WaterWorld Too) had at least 6 songs or so that had beats that blew my mind (keep in mind the lyrics in every song were ubelievable). But in REBIRTH there were no standout beats, instead every beat was solid, but the last 4 albums set my expectations too damn high. I think thats what happened to you too
He puts out albums like its his job... (No Pun Intended) his routine is realsing a new album, touring his old stuff, while working on his next project. I agree with the comment about the complexity of his beats... but understand his hustle

I can't deny it's way better than commercialized shit, but i'm just not feelin all of rebirth's beats, man, as for taste, musical taste is subject to opinion and perception, I just personally go for more complex, orchestrated, dramatic sounding beats personally, like land of the gun, or stoupe from jedi mind tricks more standout shit, of course jmt and immortal technique have also produced a shitload of beats I don't care for too guess i'm just picky, I like that shit that really hits you thou
