When there are too many variables to account for, its less the talent of the players on the field that lead to results but more of random spontaneity. When you cornerkick, you don't know exactly where the ball is going to go. You cannot really plan a header or soccer play. Plus, the game of soccer is slow. However, basketball is fast with less random probabilities
