i hate the fact that you have to have a switch that converts the exhaust to straight pipe or quiet. why cant the pipes be built as straight pipes. who wants to drive quiet? this car is to complicated

Lol. . . It's a question of legality for a road going car. Straight pipes ignore emission standards that must be met for a car to be legal for the street.

@ITP09,which in itself is a joke.i'm glad i live in a DEQ free area. my eclipse runs strait 3" off the turbo, and gets better gas mileage/ more hp than stock. a much bigger turbo doesn't hurt either...i will say that tuning is key. i made a point to properly tune my car for normal driving. i actually tuned it to be more efficient than factory settings, but when you dig into it a bit the gas mileage is gone.still, making 450 hp @ full throttle and getting 17 mpg isn't bad. gets 25 driving it easy
