Looks like y'all had a great time there! Next time you go you should visit the Kamokila Village where there is a village and you can buy some hawaiian goods, I bought a woven hat made of leaves, and you can kayak down the Waimea River.

Also on the south shore, go all the way to the end of N Nohili Road, and you'll get on a dirt road that leads to one of the most amazing beaches EVER! there is also a tank that has been flipped over and is sticking up out of the sand! It's AWESOME!
