  • Remember how Clinton promised health care reform, then Newt Gingrich waltzed in and it became a non issue? Wow! Deja vu!

  • Britain has the best health care on the planet and it's free.

Obama is right about giving more care to more American's but it's the medical insurance lobby's that are against it.

  • US healthcare is the most overpriced and the most inefficient among developed countries.

In a profit orientated system like the US one it's not profitable for the doctor and the pharma companies to cure the patient using the most efficient medical procedures but the most expensive one and to perform as many as possible unnecessary procedures just to increase the bill

In a profit orientated system doctors aren't paid to keep patients healthy. The more sick people are the more doctors earn.

  • The sad thing is that the people in this parody sound and make arguments along the same lines as real protesters against reforming healthcare

  • @AusInternerd Exactly. Satire can never border on irony as closely as in the U.S.

  • @RipTheSystem33 This is called a Poe

  • @AusInternerd Yes you are correct. The simple minded fox news viewer sounds like this.

  • lol calling Australia 'gulags of communism'... what a joke. In AUS, its compulsory for all to vote on leaders and heads of government and we all have free speech as well so we're as democratic as you guys are. But our basic healthcare is free bcos while it does come from our taxes, at least nobody has to worry about paying money for life-saving surgery or seeing ANY doctor of our choice at anytime.Through this, we also show that we all care for people in need and everyone has each others back :)

  • @Filoboi123 this is a parody showing the strawman arguements that the right and some of the centre are saying will happen, in short they feel threatened by an inherent not-for-profit system because it hurts their business interests.

  • @irishgodfatherchris The only business interests that it will hurt is the people that buy congress men and women.

  • luv this video.

  • this video proves the stupidity that people have to cope with in america ..

  • I live in italy , I don't have a decent job . I take less then 10.000 euros a year . At the hospital they asked me to sign some paper that demonstrate what I just said . So after 1 week I finally got my , ISE paper . With that paper I don't even have to pay the taxes for my health care , this means I can even cure my teeth when I feel some little ache .. If my salary was more than 10.000 i had to pay some small taxes , but still not comparable to the high rates of the private hospitals .

  • It's already ruined okay if you can afford private healthcare then keep paying private. However, waiting is much better than not affording heath care. Going without is far worse or going broke or going bankrupt, or having to take money from your mortgage or from your home equity or kids collage fund to pay for your medical care.

  • America have capitalist healthcare where the doctor is more like a banker

  • húhu_pãsst_hîèr_net_rëíñ_äbá_ich_bïn_so_ëiñsam_will_jèmâñd_mît_mïã_schrèìben

  • Question? why does medicine cost $320 in US and $79 in Canada? Why are republicans tearing apart health care when they should be looking for JOBS, JOBS, JOBS...nice distraction..Republicans and Insurance companies go hand in hand..to once again take advantage of the American people and seniors in particular .

  • I don’t understand why everyone believes that UHC is a sustainable system. Don’t get me wrong, if it was, I would be all for it. Countries that have it already are having serious financial issues. Not to mention that a capitalistic medical system is greatly needed to further medical advances. Are some of you opposed to driving insurance costs down by allowing purchase across state lines and lowering malpractice insurance etc?

  • @font1212 where the hell do you get this info? most countries in europe have implented UHC and we're not choking, or having any serious financial issues (atleast not because of the wellfare systems) , american propaganda more?

  • @ianwaters42 youre correct! the healthcare system hetr in america is worthless and for profit

  • The healthcare in this country is falling apart. We have far to many "DUMB AMERICANS" who think that Obamacare is socialism, but it is not. It will be the first plan in USA history to guarantee it's citizens healthcare, we're the only nation in the world that will give the cold shoulder on any American healthcare in a private facility. Yes, you can go to the ER but what happens when you need a specialist and don't have the money to pay for it? I know "Sit back and die" your only option.

  • @dkbjerring England healthcare is top notch. I was over there as a visitor, and I like it.

  • Don't ruin american healthcare? Are health care is really garbage. Little people die we let them suffer in we are the only nation in the world with no health care coverage for all of its citizens. we should be ashamed of ourselves, we allowed the insuranc companies to run this country so so sad. and idiots like that fat american with a blue sweater have nerves criticizing canada. at least they don't let there people die like we do here in america.

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. once famously said, "of all the forms of inequality, injustice in Health Care is the most shocking and most inhumane."

All too often minorities and the poor are left to get sick, suffer, and DIE in the good old USA because of a lack of money to pay for care.

This is DISGUSTING and criminal from a European perspective. Do you Yanks realize that you are DESPISED and loathed in the UK and the EU for what you let happen to your sick and poor?

    You are bloody BARBARIANS!!

  • you know its fucked up when the first chick says shes a working man.

  • Too late!

  • 1:10 what a dumb ass. He's mistaking korea for canada, ROFL!!!

  • The sole reason our health care sucks in America can be explained in one word and that word is "Republicans". Through there politics and lies they have made our health insurance the most expensive in the world. I have Crohn's disease and I have to pay 17,000 dollars a year for my crapy policy. My savings and retirement accounts are now empty. This sure is not the American dream.

  • americans health care is about making profit. Sorry but your country is crazy and need to grow up.

Go look at the health care system in canada and australia. You dont have to pay for anything.

you guys dont have a good trusting government. sorry but your govt are all after money.

  • @baroondiwand the system here in america is horrible. I've been well care over 4 months. Can I feel like moving to canada sometimes I am your average american with no health care

  • u dont have a health system!!!!!!!

Americans should pay tax for a national health system , like Australia, Canada, and england etc...

You guys are dillusional in america.

  • American voter is usually quite predictable, bus sometimes I just don't understand them - especially the conservatives. They don't care about their government spending trillions on wars and sending their soldiers abroad to die for...they don't even know what for! But they make a fuss and go out into the streets when the government merely plans to spend peanuts in order to assure a dignified life for their fellow citizens. Isn't it sad?

  • "Phil" is a real person! You meet him on youtube all the time

  • Well said Adam! When Americans can pull their heads out from their A*&^'s really understand what freedom really is, will people get treated equally when it comes to healthcare! I don't live in America and I'm sure glad I don't! I live in Canada, where everyone is entitled to the best healthcare possible regardless of colour, creed, race, ancestry or gender. We have a government system that pays for all treatment! rich or poor! We can go to any doctor/hospital and get treated free!

  • @PhilipJones1993 I believe it's called sarcasm...

  • Looking for something that provides genuine knowledge in an unbiased, mature informed way into some aspects of the healthcare? Please see “the U.S. Healthcare system in international Context:”

  • @dkbjerring i thought id add in a little extra word in there just to round off my word count

  • Single Payer is the only way. All our reps and Senators are supported by the corporations. Health care is a failure in the country.

  • funny shit, good actors.

  • The most ridiculous anti healthcare arguement I've heard was that Healthcare is a freedom of choice not a right. Now maybe I'm just bias because I live in that Communist paradise Canada (he said with intense sarcasm) and think of everyone having health care as the norm but that shocked the hell out of me.

  • Thank you for thus unbias take of healthcare.

  • @jmsnooks We have both national health care and private health care in the UK. It is a myth that you cannot have both. By making healthcare available to all will not take away your choice to private healthcare and the medical industry will supply that service as there will still be a market for it.

  • @sinwow33 Just because that's how it pans out in England doesn't mean that is how it will be here. It's different in Japan, different in Canada, and it's going to be different here. And I'm against socialized anything as a matter of principle.

  • @sinwow33 You don't seem to understand the economics of it, government expenditures cost money, and that drains the economy. Governments don't generate wealth they suck it up like the ticks on my dog suck his blood. Also you don't know what's in the US legislation. There was all kinds of pork attached to that bill. At any rate the government can undersell the private sector, and they will given the chance.

  • Ask yourself this question, do you want your taxes going to pay for wars in foreign countries or would you prefer it went on healthcare?

America already spends more than the whole world put together on its military. This military are used for imperialism to make rich people richer when it could go to paying people's medical expenses. It is not the governments money, that money belongs to the people and I think they should have a say in how it is spent.

  • @sinwow33 The military is something I consider essential. It's what saved you guys from Hitler and later kept you safe from Stalin. The US military that is. As to your question about wars, it depends on whether or not I agree with the war. I think you're just a communist so I don't know how much reasoning there can be with you. Military is one of the few legitimate functions of government, but I think the private sector is also capable of providing protection. We don't actually need govmtn

  • @sinwow33 And I'm one of the people and I don't want it spent on socialized healthcare. If I want healthcare I'll pay for it myself thankyou very much, and I sure especially don't want the government determining what kind of coverage I can get. Also, I don't want the government to take my money in the first place, so if I get a say, the government doesn't get any.

  • @jmsnooks

Fine than pay for it yourself. Maybe I want something different than you. I work damn hard and cannot afford health insurance. I am writing letters to Senators, Congressmen, and Govenors trying to lobby for health reform. You can 't pretend that Healthcare is not a disaster in this country.

47 million people are uninsured and they do work, and they do take responsibility. If you'd rather be raped by insurance companies than fine, I'm going a different way. Don't bother replying.

  • @TheMartian20 You can want whatever you want, the problem is that you expect other people to pay for you. Listen, the only reason you guys are on about healthcare is because the liberal media told you to be. You probably also used to believe in global warming. Second, I also work hard for very little money at my $9.50/hour job. I'm uninsured, so I stay healthy and work out, and I don't do stupid crap like eat at McDonalds every day, or drink or smoke. But if I did any of those things I...

  • @TheMartian20 ..would accept the responsibility of that lifestyle and not expect you or anyone else to pay for it. The fact is the government has to drain money from the economy to provide any service, and the more it does that the less employers can afford to pay people. When it comes to life quality matters to me more than quantity. I would rather have employers be able to give me a decent job and until then have no health care than continue to be stuck in a low paying dead end job and have

  • @TheMartian20 ...government cheese paying my health care, and in the meantime being able to determine exactly what type of treatments I could and could not have, and when I was too old to merit certain types of operations.

  • @sinwow33 The problem with you liberals is that you only want your own people to get a say and you want to have a say in what gets done with my money. Don't even start about the US military, if it wasn't for them you would be a part of the USSR or Nazi Germany right now. You have the US to thank for your freedom.

  • @jmsnooks A. I really do highly doubt that Hitler would have even borthered to invade North America.

    B. And what about the English, the Canadians, the Australians, the Indians and yes even the Russians.

That having been said I do beleive that every country needs a decent level of Military but every country needs a decent level of health care too. And don't say that Conservative people aren't as bad about "the money should be used for this and this only)

  • @zeldafreak71 It's true that water does provide some stopping power but my point is that at the end of WWII instead of habing a bipolar world power system there would have been a monopolar system with Germany and Japan as world hegemons. There would be no power to defend the weaker countries of the world or protect freedom.

A TRUE conservative wants to keep government to a minimum, which means protecting us from foreign and domestic aggressors. That is all. A neo-con is a...

  • @zeldafreak71 ...nominal conservative who doesn't mind spending money on personal causes so much.

  • Some Americans ought to get outside info about how the rest of the developed world works.

  • Come on America get with the program! even pokemon have free health care!

  • Excellent spoof :D

  • Congratulations on national health care America. Welcome to the 19th century!

  • That old woman says out of work people don't deserve healtcare. Only old people. I rest my case. That's the real opinion of the people she speaks for. The insurance companies. They dont give a damm about anyone but the dollar. Wake up America!! What if a man worked all his life for 50 years and lost his job. So the great USA reckons fuck him, he doesnt deserve the basic right of healthcare?

  • @adammac999 healthcare is not a right. Nowhere in the bill of rights is a right to health care declared or enumerated. Quit spreading misinformation.

  • @peleronaldinho healthcare might not be a right. But if I were an American, I'd rather see my taxes provide me with a healthcare system instead of paying back hundreds and trillions of dollars debt for doing stupid things like Iraq,,,,

  • nice group of actors with auto-q text. and the old woman is crazy! out of work poeple don't deserve healt care..... DAM! i will never set foot on american land, only in hawaii but in my eyes that should be part of america!

  • In the UK the NHS just about works but there are many flaws to it in how it's run, so a country as big as America i dont know how it will cope.

  • @Jo7welder I bet you're the first to the local GP when you've got a little sniffle. Prick.

  • FINALLY AMERICA DID SOMETHING GOOD AND RIGHT!!!

Europe takes care of its people!! Their respective governments take care of the Health Care Systems over their!!

Some idiots say that the day America has Nationalised Health Care it is the beginning of the end or ..... we become Socialist ... well OK SIGN ME UP XD

If Europe who takes care of its own is Socialist ... then ok lets follow

    HEALTH HAS NO PRICE

no society can legitimately call itself civilised if a sick person is denied

  • @joe24021991 No this is awful and wrong. It forces ME to pay even more in taxes to cover someone else's health insurance bill.

  • You know, when people go on about how America helps people all over the world, well the ones its not blowing to shit that is, but when you consider its own people are so foolish and sick yes sick to wanto opt out of free Medicare so the Insurance companies can profit on trillions of dollers each year, i tell you what, all profits they make, they should give back to the people ...whats wrong with that? their own kids die so some Devil can make money, yes Devil...wake the fk up fools.

  • Are we talking about Health Care, or Health Insurance? There is a difference. We already have government run Health Insurance, its called Medicaid. If ya cant afford private health insurance, sign up for Medicaid. It already exists, and there will then be no reason to cry about the guy who gets denied. All you readers and commenters should get the facts, and not go by what someone else says is true, you do the research for yourself. Heath Care is different than health insurance.

  • My daughter is suffering from 101 degree fever and you are telling me you are on a break!!!

Welcome to assembly line medical services. Now serving patient #4848995758

  • Your daughter has 101 degree fever because she probably didnt go to the doctor earlier for preventative care like us in Europe get for no extra cost because of our taxes that we already pay. Your taxes sadly in America are paying off trillions that was wasted in iraq and afghanistan. Maybe your daughter didnt see a doctor becasue she never told insurance company she broke a fingernail in 1984, so they disallowed her.

  • That old hag Doris at 0:36 says "how dare the government come in and make younger people feel as secure as I do". Sweet mother of fuck. That's a good attitude. Discrimination. Thought America give people rights and leaves nobody behind. The rest of the world is laughing at the ridiculous arguments that actors are puting foward for insurance companies.

  • . . . no society can legitimately call itself civilised if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of means. Stupid Americans deserve good healthcarefrom the governemtn with the amount of taxes they pay. But no, cuz they voted in people like bush their taxes are paying a national debt for a fuck up in Iraq and Afghanistan. They'd rather make insurance companies rich.

  • @adammac999 Acutally...their country has been in debt long before Bush.

  • @adammac999 Dude, you have no idea how bad the healthcare system is in america. I live here, I am an american in this system will truly let you die quick. Our system only cares about money they are full of greed.

  • @adammac999 I am American and Americans scare me. What country are you from, and how would you rate your health care system?

  • I'm from Northern Ireland. We have socialised healthcare. I work. Never wud I be asked for payment at any level of healthcare. Our prescriptions are free for all citizens. It's an amazing thing to have peace of mind that should I become seriously ill I will be looked after and my health comes before my wallet. If anyone over here after a hospital visit asked "where's my bill?" people would bust into a fit of laughter... Americans are stupid for not wanting a system like that.....

  • must be horrible to be an American and getting cancer and hoping to god that the insurance company will pay your treatment. Over where I live we would already be making arrrangements on beginning treatment.....

  • @adammac999 Yes it is. It makes me worry alot. My mother had cancer 3 years ago and it was a miracle she got treatment at all and that she survived. The insurance company denied her surgery citing 'experimental'. The cancer she had was extremely rare in women her age so she was able to go to a research hospital willing to treat her due to the unusual nature of her cancer. She was one of only 20 people or so to get the type of new laser surgery she got to cure her in 2007.

  • @nickphilly The problem with America is a lot of the population is'nt very smart. The government likes it that way. If the majority of Americans were smarter they would be too hard to govern, they would be asking more questions. It's like the majority of Americans voted George Bush in for a 2nd term.Yet the amount of information about all the lies about weapons in Iraq etc should have made them think twice. It was the biggest insult to all them young soldiers coming home in bodybags, many teenagers

  • @adammac999 Yes, very true. I moved from Philadelphia to Florida and there are tons of stupid republicans here. Bush was elected to a second term because he used the 9/11 card. Plain and simple, my country scares me. There are still some really great things about this country that I will always like, but overall I am more and more fearful of it. Of course every country has it's problems. I'm sure there are things about the UK that irritates you.

  • @adammac999 Do you realize that the stupid americans would be very insulted at what you said about the war? They would say you were an insult to the troops, and that you should be grateful for the US at saving you in WWII, as if Churchhill never existed.

I am seriously considering a work visa for the uk, or some other commonwealth realms in the world. With the economy the way it is, and more brain drain from the US to these countries I dont know how viable that would be.

  • @adammac999 Yes, Americans against UHC are stupid, and they scare me. Many of the lies told by US news and government is that countries like England, Canada, and France that do have national health care have 'horrible' care where you have to wait forever for treatment, and rationing of care. They also say that NHC has huge deficits in countries that have them. Americans believe these lies and it makes me very sorry and ashamed to be an American. I am going to lose my insurance soon.

  • @nickphilly It is very scary when people start crying about socialism and communism when it comes to health care reform. Reminds me of the good ol dob in a commi proporganda. I live in australia and have had a number of serious accidents, blew off my thumb and had to have it re attached, broke my femur age 7,sustained serious burns, had salmonella poisoning and only a year ago had a knee reconstruction and will be getting a disc in my spine operated on by laser next year. Didnt cost me a cent!

  • @riceburnagtv Thats the way it should be. The land down under, yeah. A friend of mine went to Perth and she liked it a lot. She has 2 kids and no problem with the doctors. Keep it up that way. I hate America... they will dig in their own shit one day...

  • @adammac999 Insurance companies employ A LOT of Americans. You guys pay beauracrats to do the same job. Joke's on you.

  • @TumisHumis Joke isn't on me.Our beauracrats adminster money etc so when we get sick we get treatment to get our health back. Your insurance companies employ people to find a way to reject payment to pay for people's care I don't think you're in any position to say joke is on me.Like the man in Michael Moore's Sicko Documentary. He needed a bone marrow transplant. Even though he had insurance they wouldn't pay and he later died. Disgraceful. I notice 19 people like my comment. Rest my case.

  • @adammac999 Citing anything from a Michael Moore movie proves your arguement invalid. Rest your case on independence and rationality, rather than the opinion of others hoping that their "Thumbs up" will somehow make their healthcare czar smile upon them when dividing up resources that don't belong to him. I'm not saying the U.S's health insurance industry isn't flawed, i'm saying Insurance companies > Beauracracies. If we actually had a free market it would function properly.

  • @TumisHumis You can defend the American healthcare system all you want. It's ridiculously overpriced for everything. So because Michael Moore highlighted serious injustices where fully insured people got turned down for claims and died you think it's invalid?? Fact is it's profit before care. The title of this video is Don't ruin American Healthcare. Well the USA is way down the list in healthcare compared to other countries who are poorer and spend less money. The system is already ruined

  • @adammac999 Altruism is counterproductive. No matter your intentions, if you run yourself out of business, more people suffer. Look around the EU, sure you have 1-2 years added to your lives from further bankrupting your government, but tell me the average lifespan in 20 years, it'll be drastically reduced despite AMERICAN advances in medicine, because we MAKE MONEY and you spend it.

  • @TumisHumis You're right you MAKE MONEY. Print print print dollars. The dollar is gonna collaspe soon anyways. I wouldn't be bothered to argue with Americans. It's a waste of time. For them money comes first and the majority of its people believe anything they are told and they are alegic to common sense. FACT.

FACT. It's not 1-2 years added to our livespan only. You only have to go into an American shopping mall and see how many really fat people exist. You would never see such a sight in Europe.

  • @adammac999 Fact: The Euro will collapse before the U.S dollar (Look at the last 5 days). Fact: The U.S produces more than any two countries combined (Even if you want to count China twice).

  • @TumisHumis The Euro will not collaspe. In fact China has had enought of the USA borrowing money off it.It's already looking to buy Euro debt because all America does is print money.USA Nearly 15 trillion in debt, no hope of paying for future liabilites, mathematcally impossible. US govenment for evey buck it spends 40 cents is borrowed. OMG. hahahahahahaha.Maybe all the USA'S little foreign military interventions to satisfy the big campaign donars in hindsight wasn't such a good idea after all

  • @adammac999 You think the U.S. is in trouble? That may be so, but look at Greece, look at Spain, look at Portugal... Bailing out any one of those countries (Greece) would bankrupt the EU, once the 2nd falls they're done. That will happen FAR SOONER than the U.S Dollar will hyperinflate. You seem to overestimate China, when they're probably going to suffer more than any European country & the U.S in the near future. What happens if/when the Euro/USD falls apart? China goes unemployed.

  • @TumisHumis

Yes, let us look at Greece. They accumulated 360 billion € debt over the last 15 years. The US of A borrow that amount of money on average every three and a half months.

Spains debt is approximately 55% of its GDP. Spain was at that point before in 2000. They managed to reduce it to 36% in 2007. It only went up again, because of the financial crisis. The USA borrow more money every year, than the total national debt of Greece, Spain and Portugal combined.

  • All the talk in that video about universal healthcare saying we have to take the medicine that the government tells us to take is another insurance company b.s. propaganda. I can pick from up to 20 local doctors who I wanna see. If I need a prescription which I don't have to pay for I can ask the doctor for the drugs of my choice if I'm unhappy with others. So that advert is wrong. Yet typical Americans will still not accept that. They will continue to preach universal healthcare is wrong.

  • @TumisHumis

Haha - funny that the bureaucrats are citizens as well, sans the completely insane executive salaries, bonuses, and golden parachutes. Bertolini (CEO Aetna) made 8.8Mil in 2010 and he's a small fry. It just doesn't make sense to leave health care to chance. I know multiple people who've been quoted $1500+ a month. I was flat out denied and I avoid hospitals unless I'm in pieces. Better hope nothing goes wrong in your life. It's easy when you've got yours but it can be fleeting.

  • Heathl shouldn't have a price

  • haha stupid fucking Americans with there private health care. There happy for the poor to die and the rich to survive.

The rich Americans are against free health care, because there taxes will rise and the quality won't be as good as the private health system.

But there quite happy to let poor Americans die the peices of shit.

America the great? MY FUCKING ASS....

  • hahahah very well said!

  • lol. They talk about isolated cases where in social healthcare people maybe had to wait for treatment. At least they get it. People against social healthcare are very quiet when the person with insurance in USA with a brain tumor gets denied treatment because the insurance company said that the customer never mentioned when they got their insurance that they had a broken wrist in 1984 hahahahaha. Let's talk about all the denials thats given out and the amount of people who die because of this.

  • You guys clearly don't understand the implications of socialism or the arguments involved.

  • Enjoy wrestling with you're HMO....that is if you even have health care.,

  • I'm in textbook perfect health, and I have no coverage right now. At any rate, you leftists understand nothing about economics. Why should I have to pay for other people's medical expenses? And why would I want government to run and control another aspect of my life? It's none of their bloody business.

  • You are already paying for others healthcare and more than we do in Canada, check the stats from WHO.

  • @jmsnooks Has your house ever caught fire? No, then why should you have to pay for the fire service. Have you ever been mugged in the street? No, so why should you pay for the police. You're obviously uneducated so why should you be paying for schools? You do all these things.

  • @Damn6Deal6Done6 Haha, no, I think I understand economics a lot better than you and most of the followers on the left. First of all, most of those things are paid for on the state or community level. Second, I don't necessarily approve of all those, third, there are monstrous ramifications to having the government run everything which you obviously haven't considered, and finally, your argument is a slippery slope, maybe the government should also pay my car insurance and provide me with food

  • @jmsnooks Funnily enough, YOU are the one using the 'slippery slope' argument here pertaining to car insurance, etc. Slippery slope arguments are one of the lowest forms of argumentation, but you should know that, since you are so smart.

  • @mgband No, I'm just trying to see if you guys are capable of being objective, but it looks like you're just towing your party line.

  • @jmsnooks I am towing the party line by pointing out your lack of argumentation skills, and your willingness to use lazy and disingenuous tactics while making your claim? Really? Or are you just using another flawed argumentation tactic (ad hominem attack) to try and make a point? Is this how you argue all the time? Have you ever been to college? Did you graduate?

  • @Damn6Deal6Done6 ...while they're at it. Food is a lot more of a necessity than health insurance is. No, I spit on the Democraps, the government has no business telling me what sort of coverage I can and cannot get. It's none of their bloody business.

  • So true. English healthcare system is the best. My dad survived cancer last week because of the NHS. Tell me that isnt acomplishing something.

  • @somedude98 My father survived cancer recently here on the current US health care plan. Is that not something?

  • @somedude98

being not as good as the English health care, Polish social health care (for free) saved my dad as well

  • @somedude98 its not the fucking english healthcare service its the whole of fucking british's healthcare servies its in england scotland wales and nothrn ireland so stop fucking calling britian england there are 3 other fucking coountries in the uk god sakeit makes me so god damn made

  • @somedude98 u lie. it sucks!

  • @somedude98 my grandfather survived cancer 4 times before dying when he got it the fifth time cause of the dutch healthcare system, tell me that isnt acomplishing something .

  • So many of my American people are idiots.. They say they love our pathetic healthcare system because their parents pay for it etc. They don't understand that these private companies that juice the poor for extreme proffits will deny your procedures If it'll save them some money.. They don't cate about life they only care about profits.. Stupid slime balls!!! They're a piece of garbage!.

  • You have to make dirt to get put on the county or Medicaid and if you make a penny more your booted off.. You get a six month time then you have to show proof you're not making more then before.. Obama is trying, it's just these private insurance fat cats buy out politics and they corrupt them to sign bills to keep their disgusting system that kills people and builds their salary a signed law ..fuck our American healthcare system IT SUCKS!!!!

  • I love and respect Europe and canadas system. My wife and daughter are from Canada and it's a great system... Here we are left to die.. I been trying to get a plan for over 4 years, I'm 35 lve over weight even though it's muscle mass so i have to pay over 433 a month.. I had county coverage, it took me 6 months to see a gastrologist and right before I was going to get a colonoscopy I was booted off because my 6 months were up..I hate our system sooo much..

  • I'm American I know our garbage system very well. Our government is soooo corrupted with the private insurance companies it's sad... Did you know in order to get Medicare healthcare here you need to make less then 922 a month to qualify? Your wages are checked monthly and if you make one cent over you're kicked off... It's a sad system we have..

  • The obvious reason to why healthcare should be state owned is because that the state cares if you're cured. A healthy citizen can work->pay tax, whilst a sick cannot. The private sector only gains on: sick people, avoid curing them and forcing as many medicins on them as they can.

In my country everything prescripted by a doctor is free, and every hospital service is free of charge.

And yeah, I live in a socialism, it's called Sweden. Look it up on wikipedia if you want. It's not soviet :p

  • i am from Denmark. Yes it´s hell, if you can´t spend your life beeing sick your going to have to get a job.:-)

  • i cant stand the americans that think imposing a national health scheme is turning the states into a socialist even russia like country, GROW UP! its not stealing is it if the money taxed is going to save millions of lives! no human should be left to die because he/she cant afford to pay the money hoarding insurance companies. look at the u.k, they oppose socialism but they have the NHS. Its saddening to think how selfish some people are that they wont give mere dollars for a greater good.

  • I love how "socialism" is thrown around as if it's a foul word! Canadians are laughing at Americans. We don't pay for shit, while we are enjoying high quality care.

  • i want a universal plan. i hate these stupid private insurance companies juiceing us out of our money.. or denying out american people coverage.. it's a crock of shit, our system is a failure.

  • Health care is a right... Not a priveledge. The state should control health care. It's pretty sad how your healthcare system is capitalistic, market oriented. I'm glad you agree

  • this sum's up the health debate, propaganda from insurance companies with idiots taking it at face value. If you think this video has a good point you deserve to be scammed. Profit over people can never be justified.

  • And also, millions of people paying an extra quarter for their Big Mac every day (which is ridiculously oversimplifying the idea of taxing unhealthy habits) will add enough money to the funding to pay for the health problems in the future. But the idea is more to get people to stop eating that way in the first place as people respond more to their wallets then their personal health.

  • Except that's how insurance works in the first place...large amounts of people pay relatively small amounts of extra money so that when a large single expenditure needs to occur, the majority picks up for the minority.

  • Not worth my energy. BTW I love my health insurance.

  • In Canada, when i go to the hospital I get everything done for free. and forget what the news says about massive line ups, I've never had to wait more than 20min and its based on priority. sure part of my taxes go into healthcare and sure maybe I havent used what I've put in cause I am young. but I am not going to be young forever and when I am older and need the healthcare, it will be there for me free of charge. I love Canada.

  • funny video. Healthcare shouldn't be avaliable to out of work people, just old people. lol

  • Im British,my country communist one. You should all relax a little here! The fact you pay for your healthcare is viewed by most other democratic countries as a little backward. I know most of you dont really think in context of a world view (a little like say, China or North Korea), but this could really HELP your country, relax, take the free healthcare system(you have potential to do it better than anyone else in the world)and God Bless what America will be when it grows up!

  • lol they troll'd me

  • WHAT Republican plan??? Like the goldman sachs alan greenspan ayn rand no regulation, we'll police ourselves financial hedge fund investment bank industry plan? Like the protected and exempted health insurance big pharma CORPORATE plan?! All subsidized by the taxpayer but they don't know it plan? Like the bankrupt the citizens but give them lower taxes and move their funds to corporations plan? Uh-huh. And wrap it in the Bible and misunderstandings about patriotism and the constitution!

  • i hope you get sick and they throw you out of the hospital because your insurance does not want to cover you..

  • you just said it, you got a good job, what about if you lose your job, and if somebody in your family is sick or dying. What about the millions of people without work now..? What about the fact that Health companies are one of the richest in this country and they are not regulated?

You are nothing but a selfish person, of course what you care anybody else, if you are working and have health insurance....

  • Just keep playing the victim role, It so easy to do. I started a food drive ten years ago which has raised over $100,000.00-We buy groceries with the food so people cant embezzle it and it goes to the local food banks here in the Cleveland area, But yes you know me so well.

  • just saw your profile, are you an American citizen? If not -just dont comment on this subject.

  • Citizens from countries other than the states should comment on this because they have universal health care. Give the American people insight on the issue

  • how ignorant can you be? because I was not born here does not mean I do not pay taxes or that I am not an american citizen..? How valient you must feel piper to hide behind a pc. Of course my opinion is valid, and guess what, I am not goint to stop. I bet you would one of the first one trying to sign up for health care if the reform is pass, too bad we wont be able to see who is opposing this reform. Is that the best you can do to defend your point of view..?

  • This response is so old i cant even look up the comment . Sorry.

  • Holy Crap! 250 PER MONTH. Are you serious? This is worse than I thought. I just looked at my pay slip, and I pay $23.47 a month for healthcare and never EVER get a hospital bill because it's covered.

  • All I can say is "...Oh shit!" Your ass got told right wing morons.

  • missing the facts that healthcare will be denied for elderly people and that the government pays for stuff with tax money that comes from Americans, it's not free healthcare, it's just another way to pretend they are helping the people

notice how the first part where the health insurance adjustor says patient djj648798734

    that's not gonna change

it's all bull shit the government wants you to think so you'll believe them and your easier to control, take their healthcare, they have control of u

  • Well how about this? Healthcare companies already control you (with your logic), in fact if you don't have insurance you won't get treated! You get left outside to die. Now look in countries like France, and mine Canada. You won't get left outside to die. You won't have to pay for YOUR baby. Think about it.

  • @epicnessinacan you pay for it threw your taxes, this is something you need to understand, any service the government provides that costs money is from taxes, they don't magically make it appear out of the fucking air

and Health care companies have no interest to control people, whether or not they do

  • I never said it's free. And besides i was using patriots logic hence the (with your logic) i probably could have worded it better but i was trying to show patriot (there's a bunch of numbers at the end but i don't feel like looking) that his idea that the government was trying to control everyone's lives was bull.

  • @epicnessinacan it's likely to develope into socialism is the idea, that's what GOP members are afraid of

im sure there is a system that could be worked out, but not they way they are doing it right now

  • Aye, your 100% correct.

The scars of the cold war run deep don't they?

  • @epicnessinacan indeed

America is a free country, and if anyone tries to impose on that, they get lynched

  • You have some pretty damn good insight, it's nice to have a nice conversation on this subject with someone.

During my... "skirmish" with Americanpatriot, he often resorted to name calling, so this is refreshing, he called me a "flaming communist" (a personal favorite so far)

  • flaming comi... :D-but in all seriousness ty

my dad came from Poland during Solidarnosc and the overthrowing of the communist gov't so i try and be somewhat politically intelligent

i couldn't fit all the reason's why universal health care the way democrats want it could be bad in 500 characters so im not gonna try

but it's down to either insurance companies or the gov't have control

but only one of them would want to use it, and i'd rather them not have that power

  • lol ill make one thing painfully clear to you, cause your clearly retarded. pay an extra $1000 a year for healthcare, and WHEN you need it, its there for whatever you need. or do it your way. save alittle more money and when something does happen (and some injury always does) your fucked up the ass and you pay $30,000 bucks at once. the USA has the worst healthcare system of any modern country. face it. your system sucks. the rest of the worlds system is awesome.

  • now i'm not going to resort to name calling like you are, but for your apparently ignorant information, i am insured, just like 95% of America

out of 300 million American citizens only about 10 million need it and can't get it

now matter how much your injuries, that could have probably been fixed at home are quickly fixed, nothing will change that, to get 10 million people healthcare, we lose more every year, do to larger surgery lines, denying health care to older citizens

  • your so brainwashed. You would fix... say. a broken leg. at home? your serious...? wow. no wonder you all look like beat up old stereotypes of hillbillys. thats fucking insane. when you break something just sit at home for afew days or weeks... tell me how it works out for you... HAHAHAHAH

  • you know i'm not a hillbilly, in fact i really do dislike rednecks, and i'm a 2nd generation Polish Immigrant, with dual citizenship (implying you know what that means)

and it's clear to me that you can't keep a friendly educated conversation about universal health care so here's that "redneck" inside of me talking, go fuck your sister

  • duel citizenship between poland and the states? hell I woulda stayed there. but yeah i dont have a sister otherwise i would prolly take some tips from you hahah

  • also im trying to go about this seeming as though i have a higher than grade 6 education, so unlike you im not going to point my finger and shout "you dumb fag retarded bitch, the C in a Canada stands for Communism"

    try and act your age

as a side note the C in Canada really does stand for communism

  • HAHAHAHA wow. you are really really misinformed. I dont even know where to start telling you how stupid you are. whatever I dont give a shit about the US you country is ugly and full of idiots. the small amount of smart americans dosent make up for the mass amount of YOU. seriously... Canada... Communism... wow. just wow, you are such a moron. keep wasting your money retard. ill countinue driving my mach 1 and not worrieing about getting my healthcare dropped!!
