  • @triunefilms: It looks pretty cool. Are you just using an background and green-screen ? how did you mix it so well in A.E ?

  • ryan, how do you get it to where the subject is PART of the environment? You nailed this one!

  • Wonderland!

  • the light almost matches. Needs to be behind here a bit more. And you've definitely got some green spill going on there...

  • Looks alright but you had a big glowing moon behind you so you should have had mild halo around the right of your body :)

  • the problem I have had with chromakeying and masking is it looks natural in low resolution but once you get up into the 1080 you see all the flaws. it is very time consuming to fix. I've tried every software I could find to resolve but of course that was 3 years ago and I'm sure prosumer software has improved a bit. What software do you use? Also, people go to all this trouble to prove they can come close to studio or broadcast quality but they never do any acting.

  • Great work, but if you spend a bit more time and do some masking around the leafs,it would look more real..but your green screen lighting and removing is fantastic.....

  • I can't believe 4 people hate this!!!Why?This is awesome!!!

  • well done! is all about the lightning.

  • how did you get the "moving Camera" ? Digital Zoom in?

  • wow, nice, I think I just got inspired to shoot a movie with all Green Screen. Would be interesting to see what that's like.

  • A word from a fellow FX artist... NEVER use a still picture as a chroma BG, and if you do, don't pan, move or do nothing with the camera, coz elements don't act that way!

  • @RemixXFX

oh.. dats cos they show no parallax..rite!?? ..i donno ..jus shootin in dark here..

..but dis stuff is really good.. far better dan anythin i can do.. 'm not ashamed to accept dat..

  • man that looks great

  • I liked

  • super badass shadows

  • That's awesome, I wish I had something green behind me so I could do things like this.

But unfortunately I do not own a green-suit neither a background.

And that ruins all my plans of being awesome.

  • @Angranity uuu can buy one

  • That looks pretty dam good man.

  • cool background, very realistic

  • Nice work! :-)

  • wow!!! was she singing? O.o

btw... that was nice effects! i lov it! :)

  • I love how a year ago I left a comment on this video saying how great it was. And now a year on I see you have done great with the new site. Watching it now and its brilliant. Keep it up!

  • haha. That's great.

  • @triunefilms Tutorial!?

  • @harrinski And now another year has gone and I am still watching you guys on Film Riot and it is still awesome. If you give me a shout out on one your videos it would actually make my week :D Keep up the good work

  • WOW! so real!

  • Wow! You even got the shadow in there! I have no idea how you did it, but good job!

  • What program is used here? :O It looks AWESOME! It looks so real! You really did a great job here!

  • Thanks! I did this after effects.

  • How do you get that background image? Do it come with certain editing programs? Because that background is OUTSTANDING! :)

  • It was from a stock photo library.

  • incredible!! this is random but how do you make that thing above the subscribe bar? that says "triunefilms" and "subscribe" with the arrow

  • u have to be a partner

  • Yeah, we had a floor matt. I light and shot the girl to match the BG I chose, and added a shadow, that way it gives a better illusion that she belongs in that environment.

  • but how do you get the GS so that it looks like y ou are actually in it, mostly it always looks like it behind you, in this one it looks like its in front of you as well, you must have GS under your feet as well?

  • awsome background.

  • Thanks.

  • I like the background where did you come up with it??

  • I believe it was a stock photo.

  • I belive so too, I recognize it from somewhere:)

    Nice job on the keying.

  • How do you make a shadow? is it an effect

  • I took her image, turned it black, threw a blur and perspective on it and placed it where I needed it.

  • So sweet,Right on im ganna do one with my shadow in it. It looks so cool

  • Thanks man.

  • that looked so good

  • Very nice! Looks kinda like Pans Labyrinth, but anyway great job

  • How do you do the zoom in thing? I am quite new to making films and i would like to know how to do this thing please. I got adobe premiere pro but i think it will be kinda the same as Final cut pro.

    Cheers

  • I shot it 1920x1080 (HD) then brought that into a 720x480 project. Which aloud me to do digital zooming. You can do it by clicking on the clip in the timeline, then "effects controls" in the source monitor. You'll find scaling options under "Motion".

  • Forgot to add, it looks great and i really like your films

  • Thanks :)

  • I like the way you sort of 'panned in on the shot, whats that really you panning in , or was it the green screen

  • Wow, how did you manage the shade, aftereffects?

    really good!

  • Looks really good!

  • Hey, I'm wondering how you do this.. I'm interested in film-making and have been working on some 3D animation. I have no idea how to do Green Screen stuff, any advice? Tutorial? Software?

    Thanks ;b

    Jon

  • This is beautiful ^^

  • I've worked with a lot of green and blue screen composite shots...and I have to say these are really incredible!

    Great job!

  • All I have to say is that it looks really neat! :)

  • Nice, that's pretty awesome. What'd you use? (Camera, lights, software, etc.)

  • XL-H1, studio ligting and Advant Edge.

  • Oh, shot in the studio I see in the Hard at Work series. Cool. What kinds of lights did you use? I'm applying to VanArts in Vancouver, but I want to know about ways to do things on my own too, so I can work cheaper and faster than relying on someone else in the future. Also, heard anything about good, cheap (or homebuilt) stabilizers for the XL-1 or XL-H1? I have an XL-1 and need something heftier than what I have but not heavy to weigh myself down. Any suggestions?

  • Well, you can make you own by getting a tripod, breaking off the legs and attaching some sort of counter balance to the bottom.

  • Glide pro 2000 works well. full suit 1500 dollars 220 just for the glide pro no suit.

  • nice!

  • Nice green screening. How did you make the shadows?

  • awesome set

  • man your background is A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I WISH I HAD A GREENSCREEN!

  • I agree with SunrisePearl about the background. Really cool. Was that just an image you used?

  • Cool.

  • Hey...I really love the background:)especially the part left of you(or who ever that is)...I´m a "artist"(well, not that good...but thoose who have seen my work like it)I usually draw faces...but this is very good...I´ll maybe end up drawing this...:)

Of all the youtubers around the world you invited me to be your friend...now...I don´t know what you serched for or who you clicked on to end up with me...but...thanks:)

  • thanks for inviting me! green screen work is nice; what software you use?

  • advant edge
