at the tip of the flame i can see a vortex form, making me think there may be something above the flame of the candle, using heated air to add to the flame of the candle and pull it higher also.

This is easy stuff. Fire is energy. You are energy. Your very thoughts are energy. It shouldn't be too surprising that we can "manipulate" energy. This is probably fake, so try it out for yourself. (make it do the chicken dance, then you'll definitely be able to tell it's working :'D)

I believe in many kinesises, I have done research and, popular instantly means fake. You can tell, this looks much more realistic. Truth is, you may not be able to prove it is real, but you cannot prove it is not possible. So do not instantly say it is fake, unless it is obvious... Like in TK, seeing it just jump up and start flying around the room, or seeing shiny straight lines connected to the object.

at the tip of the flame i can see a vortex form, making me think there may be something above the flame of the candle, using heated air to add to the flame of the candle and pull it higher also.
i used to play with fire vortexes constantly and notice the same characteristics in that, that ive also noticed in this vid.

Anyways, if we watched the same video(acupuncture, paper flame) how do you explain the cut between him ripping the paper and balling it? It takes a second to ball up paper, there was no reason at all for that cut except maybe to douse it with chemicals. Fake. She gave herself away with that little timer. Many parts of the film the time was adjusted, slowed down, repeated, sped up, cut out. Also, though I havn't tried it myself (doesn't feel good), by cupping your hands around the flame would cause the air to heat up quite fast causing a thermal draft.
Final point: A pyrokinetic would not need to use all those hand motions to control the flame. If she needed to use her hands, keeping them still next to the flames would suffice.

That can be done with some relatively simple chemistry.

okay this may be real but alls it is is that yer moving the air flow making the flame move so when you cup yer hand around it it's just taking the heat and making it hotter then you have cold air on the bottom pushing up witch makes air flow so witch ever direction you hvae yer hand it's the opposite of wuts direction the flame is gunna be

like i told you all along time ago it's citrus vapors. try it. get a raw orange and rub it on your hands and then put your hand close and move your hands like the guy in the video you'll get the same effect. Just try it out and post a video showing me what happens. until then stop knocking what i'm saying.

When the flame "jumped", notice how whatever it was they dropped into the flame caught fire before actually making contact with it. ;) Note also the lack of sound and the extremely limited scope of vision. These are all classic TV magic elements, folks. If people could actually pyrokinete, they wouldn't be making home movies, they would be making millions. If not, they wouldn't be making movies at all, or telling people about it.

On a serious not though.. ive noticed all the fire manipulation videos have no sound... so you cant hear the gas hissing. Get to gas canisters, one with CO2 to make the flame smaller, one with a flamable gas to make it bigger... Look up some other ones you'll see what i mean!
