That starhawk, on the cover of issue 3, is the original starhawk shown in the final pages of Marvel super heroes 20, that came out in february of 1969. Rather then it appearing, marvel started to reprint avengers and x men in issue 21, later dd , x men, then subby and the hulk, then just the hulk. Years later it came out that goodman was very anti science fiction, and canceled not just the strip upon seeing it, but the use of the mag to intro new strips.Dan Adkins was to have drawn the book.
