No, Christian Missionaries are more than happy to take something that gives joy to their lives to others...they want all people in the world to try that. Every grown person can accept that or reject. Um, what? This is not true at all. They're one of the most secular countries in the world, is that what you meant? Because the majority of Japan practices Shinto, which does have deities.

Shintoist and Buddhist philosophies are entrenched in the Japanese culture but if you asked the majority of Japanese if they believe in god(s) most will say no. Most Japanese are agnostic or outright atheists.
But yes, I think you're right; secular is a better description than atheist.

I've heard "Iesu Kuristo" and "Iesu sama", but never "Shu Iesu", until this song. What does the "Shu" part mean? (and I"m sorry if it's already been explained -- I looked, & didn't find it)

失礼ですが、「捧げよう」とは一言です。Sasageyou, don't put the u in parentheses please. Sanbi no Sambi is the correct romanization although the n may sound like an m the n is a completely different sound from anything in the English language. It's a nausilazation. Wo not O. utagoe not uta koe, always follow the Rendan rule. I could send you correct Roomaji for this song if you'd like.

wat are u talking about? lol, it's kind of hard to get the majority of the Japanese to convert them into Christianity because most of them are perveted people anyways. no offense or anything, I like the Japanese culture and stuff and I speak the language. but still it's hard to get them converted because the country has so many perverted stuff, streets of tokyos are flooded of porn on the vending machines.

Japanese is a wonderful language if you give it a chance. And, helping out the small amount of Christians in Japan already would be a magnificant help. I think more people should invest their time in the nation. Most people on focus on the countries that are poor but already have Christians and not places in Japan where they aren't poor but lack Christ
