Well, actually the hype about Opheliac (the album) was especially in Germany very big... If you are not really into underground scene and so on, then it´s logical that you don´t know her, but if you are, you should have noticed it back then xD She´s been all over the magazines (underground music magazines) and she still is... she even appreciates the great fan base in Germany

seen any of her interviews? Talk about conceded shes like Paris Hilton in goth victorian clothing. All of her European fucking hype. She was raised in the states. Leandra fucking owns her. I love Emilie's music but other than that I'd like to put one between her eyes.

I've seen her interviews, I've also seen her blog, and she is a lot more intelligent than people give her credit for, but all this hype that came with Opheliac is quite irritating.
