Absolutely outstanding vid- I'm sold! When I saw Bike Mobile and 6m I had to see it. Now I've got an excellent idea for my venerable Yaesu FT-690RII. I'd pretty much resigned myself to 2m/440 moving back to the Big City.....
I went backpacking in talk on 10-meters its was fun the the scotts troop I belong to loved see my set with keyer speaker and that I used a car charger battery pack with 2 12-volt dc plugs hook the radio to it run qrp in worked a few stations great idea I just used a mod for a 11-meter (cb) antenna in got it set to 28.400 works great thinks for doing these vides steve hope to work you some day
Very nice video. As I am really into biking, I have been thinking about rigging up my IC-703+ or FT-817ND to my bike, but haven't yet got enough nerve. My luck, I would take a spill landing on the rig. However, your video has me seriously thinking about it now.
Wow that is an awesome bike setup!! Too bad theres not much trails near here where I could do that.. and I barely ride my bike too hahaha.. 73 ke5rrh!

Greetings from sweden, though i am getting my callsign in about 4 weeks. (SA3***)
I will be running from a Kenwood TS-940, now hooked up to a R8 deployable antenna.
Previously we had a tree mounted antenna for up to 160m.
But since dad started going SOTA, and IOTA he got himself a HW8 and R8 for mobile use. My dads callsign, SM3GQP

Thanks.

Steve... You think it's hot there, try 105F here. Too hot to even fly the new airplane.
The boys are well and growing. They have two mini-horses for friends now...
