She's really not there, she looks like it's there, but it's really just her soul, like in astral form but she's fading. She was really in a car accident and is in the hospital... something like that. I haven't watched the first season of Clannad in a long time...

Anyways, Ibuki's voice actress is like Akiko's... are they the same seiyuu?
