Okay Tommy! I read that the song was written by Kenny and Joe. Maybe you did help with it too. I won't argue that because I wasn't there, but from what I read they (or you) started writing the song around 1973 but it wasn't completed and wasn't released until 1981 on "There Goes The Neighborhood." I didn't guess at this, I got the info from an Internet site...so if this is wrong please tell me where I can find the correct information.

I was blessed with the opportunity to see hell frozen over and to see Joe, Don, Glenn and Tim at the Pond of Anaheim. Joe didn't go into some long rambling political statement, what he said was short and sweet, his words of hope and encouragement admonished us to unite for change, which of course happened a few years later. Good to see birds of feather soar together !!!!!!!!!!

@carann5, it was 2005. I'm a homeless fellow and at the time I was sleeping under the Katella Ave Bridge right next to the Pond of Anaheim. I was collecting aluminum and plastic in the arena's parking lot. Some awesome fan's boyfriend couldn't make it back from Tenn. in time. She saw me, realized my situation, took pity and gave the ticket to me. I offered her a duby, but she gave that up in the eighties. She even bought me a beer. Just like me, she sang along with every song.
