I always forget about Village of the Damned. I haven't seen it for a while. I just DVR'd The Hitcher remake over the weekend. Looks like it should be pretty good. The Ring is fantastic. Lets not talk about Ring 2 though. The Peter Jackson King Kong is underrated. I thought it was great.

I really adore The Ring. The originals are better IMO but that remake is deffo brilliant. One of my favourite horror films for sure. I went OTT on The Ring when I was younger. I was even gonna have my bedroom decorated Ring style, haha! You should check out 'Rings' which I think is a special feature on The Ring 2. It's pretty cool. You could probs find it on YouTube actually.

I remember watching the Thirteen Ghosts remake awhile back. I always loved the gore, and it had some really cool cinematography and filming techniques. Carpenter's The Thing is an ultimate, and one of my all time favorite Horror films. Rob Bottin's effects are just outstanding. The Ring was a very unique film. The Ring 2 sucked. I really didn't like it. King Kong (1933) is a classic. The remake wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, but it was still decent.

I loved the remake of the thirteen ghosts. the ghosts were so fuckin creepy and badass

I hated the house on haunted hill remake. some parts were insanely corny and cheap.

I liked the ring remake. I'm a HUGE asian cinema fan as you know but I've never seen the asian one. I will one day though lol.

Village of the Damned is actually the only Carpenter DVD that I sold, although I am a huge fan of his. It's his worst movie by far imo; big mistake.

No comment on The Thing. Awesome classic.

The Hitcher was good imo. Very entertaining and is not worse or better than the original.

Ring is awesome. I saw it in cinemas too like you and the were some nasty scares in it.

King Kong is still underrated. It IS a masterpiece and was not a second too long IMO.

Ghosts of Mars is a fun lil movie, I like it! :-) You cannot take it as seriously as Halloween for exmaple, but as an expolitation movie it works imo.

Thirteen Ghost was awesome! The Jackal was the best haha! I haven't seen the original yet either.

The Thing is Carpenters best in my opinion. One of my favorite horror movies!

House on Haunted Hill used to scare me when I was younger, haha I don't really remember it too well.

The Ring was very well made, the original Ringu was also very good. I loved them both.

King Kong was good, just a bit on the long side in my opinion.

pretty cool set man, but to be honest i wasn't a big fan of the thing remake, and don't get me wrong it's a excelent film, but it just felt like you were expecting something major to happen, and then nothing happens, i perfer the original, but then again saying you like one over the other isn't that big a deal because they are 2 different films, and take place at 2 differnet places, i did like the hither remake a lot, but i love that actor

i really liked Children of the Corn! i definitely buy the bluray when it comes out! Wicked Little Things surpirsed me. I really liked it alot! THEM i want to see really bad! looks very creepy!

House on Haunted Hill was another great remake. I also like the orignal too.

killer kids in films scare me, they come across as all angelic but deep inside their monsters.

Thought the best thing about Th13teen Ghosts was the ghosts and the house was pretty impressive too.

Heard not very good things about The Hitcher but will get it when it's really cheap.

The jungle scene wiht the giant spiders (?) in the King Kong remake I found impressive.

Hey again man. Village of the Damned I'd totally forgotten was a remake. I've seen both, the remake is not as good, but still really decent. Never seen the original Thirteen Ghosts, the remake was okay, enjoyable. The Thing is one of the only remakes that surpasses the original for me. Great choice with King Kong! I thought it as great - you can tell Jackson had a real passion for it and wasn't simply tying to cash in on the franchise.

i love daryl hannah, my two fav daryl hannah performances were splash and kill bill. i was suprised to find out that she's actually a really shy person cause she seems the exact opposite. i think the ring remake is better than the original, love it. loved king kong remake! i was totally convinced that naomi watts was in love w/ a giant gorilla lol.. great acting. totally enjoyed ur video thanks!!
