That cougar was young and was just practicing its take down techniques. That man was lucky though. I live in Northern Arkansas and there is a cougar that passes through my area every year. One night I was sitting on my porch with my dog and I herd the most terrible roar in my life! My dog jumped up and immediately tried to get in the house. LOL I had my 20 gauge with me at the time and I fired off a few shells in the direction but did not hit the cougar. We went back inside the house after that.

Yikes, is that a wild or tamed cougar? Maybe that was his pet cougar playing with him. I had a close encounter with mt. lion some years ago in D-7 and this video gives me the creep. The mt. lion was stalking me while I was stalking deer. I saw him before he could jump me. Got my gun on him while backing away. On second thought, I should've shot his ass.
