  • soft gay guys !

  • stinking paki moslems will blow our beautiful planes out of the skies... fucking assholes!!!

  • @SillyRamaBubbles the captain said that because the Flight Attendants are in danger if they are not buckled in. Only because they could get tossed around, not because the plane is about to go down or anything like that. No need to worry.

  • I love it when the pilot is speaking calmly. Makes me feel so much better. I especially like when they warn you that turbulence is coming and they sound like it's not a big deal. But one time we hit a patch of turbulence and the pilot quickly said, "Flight attendants, take your seats!" He sounded panicked so I freaked out.

  • I ´ll never forgot a trip from Easter Island to Tahiti, like 4 hours of constant turbulences, in one my sister almost fall down when she was coming back to her seat and laugh! i didn´t understand her humor, we were in the middle of South Pacific and i was thinking what if we have an emergency?

  • Olbia? where is that place? and turbulence are horrible, if something happened their is no way to escape, if you ´re in a train accident maybe you survive, in a plane accident they all die.

  • you shake your camera

  • if you saw how a car was built then saw how an aircraft was built ,you would never get in a car again

  • pilot:ok laidies and gentilman were flying over afghanistan right now so dont be alarmed if you can hear explosians.

    Arabian guy:dont move i have a bomb.

pilot:and if theres a terroist on borde we'll deal with him in a minute.Thank for chose air holy shit another terroist

  • I know that flying is generally pretty safe, and that a lot more people get into car accidents, but when you think about it there are soooo many more cars on the road than there are planes in the air at any given moment. The roads are a lot more conjested than airways, but if you do crash then you stand more of a chance of surviving than you do in a plane. That being said I'm not afraid to fly, but is it that much safer than driving really?

  • @monstahhh12 But with more cars on the road, the bigger a chance there is for a car driving into you. But still gotta say, that they have done more to make the car safer, than a airplane.

  • hatten wir gestern nacht auch. vielleicht liegt es an der anderen thermic. weiss es nicht so genau.

  • warum passieren eigentlich die meisten Turbulenzen Nachts?

    oder täusche ich mich da?

  • Wheeee! Star tours! 8D

  • I actually love turbulences because I get excited that we might end up crashing and I will end up dying and I dont care about anyone else on that plane cuz if it happens it happens, BUT i WANT it to happen

  • @LeBronForTheWin ....think you need therapy!!!!!

  • @vyazz lol not really, I'm just not afraid of death, I lean more towards it then to live, but my life is still good enough not to commit suicide, committing suicide is just fucked up.

  • @LeBronForTheWin ......ahh....I guess thats about right........nevertheless, plunging down 30000 ft into a fiery death kinda freaks the hell outta me!!!!......to each his own I guess!!!

  • @LeBronForTheWin your fuckin weird.. no wonder you like lebron but every one will die befor he wins a champion ship so no worries haha

  • @trx300Brutekiller hahah im only weird in my view toward death, other aspects of my life are fine. hahhahah and about Bron.. thats funny but he will win one soon

  • @LeBronForTheWin

buy yourself a crotch rocket. hit a deer. problem solved, nobody else gets hurt

  • Knowing that even when you experience turbulence that you are 99.999% safe doesn't help when you're bouncing up and down like a bob in water, suspended 1000's of feet above ground. If people have faith in the pilot knowing what they are doing and that driving a car is so much more dangerous, this can help a little bit maybe.

  • I am pilot, and these turbulences were light compared we can have... =) people just got scared for nothing in a plane... what a pity... heavy turbulence you can see the wings bend a lot lol

  • I have been flying since the mid 60's and I have seen a lot of shit over the years.

I am a very relaxed flyer now but it has not always been that way.

I can remember several times when I nearly dislocated my knuckles while trying to hold the plane up by the arm rests.

Moderate to severe turbulence is uncomfortable no matter how experienced you are.

I can remember 1 flight into Kobe Japan right on the edge of a Typhoon with the passengers begging the crew to land ANYWHERE...NOW.

    Some scary shit.

  • I was on my way to Philly from Kingston and it was the a FIRST time flight for the most terrified Jamaican I have ever seen. We hit hard turbulence for a few mins. She started screaming... saying stuff like, "GET ME OFF OF THIS PLANE!!!!" Then she started throwing up. I felt bad, but honestly, It was kinda funny.

  • I loves turbulences and seeing all these scared whites faces while i relax on my seat ^^

  • I used to think turbulance was fun. Then we hit some last year and I hated it :(

  • Yeah, that's just 41 seconds of shit, shame you didn't hit an air pocket and smash your head on the overhead cabin for posting that crap

  • Tht's like a plane flying in a hurricane with tht kind of wind speed !!! Damn tht...Never have and would never want to experience tht !

  • 150 kmph my ass...the captain said 80 knots not 150 lol u fail

  • @BigMacFail For your information 80 knots is 150 km/h so the guy that posted this video is correct.. Do your research if you don't know how to convert knots into km/h...

  • this ist germanwings not tuifly

  • shitty duds

  • We are experiencing some turbulence - Uuuuuh - So please -Uhhhhhhh- remain calm it is - uhhhhhhh - about 16Degress - Uuhhhhh.

DONT YOU FIND THAT SO FRIKIN ANNOYING WHEN THEY SAY UUUH 1 MILLION TIMES!

  • i had wake turbulence, it dropped and banked to the left. i shit myself...

  • @GREALDO21 same happened to me when I was landing in the Dominican Republic, I shit myself too :P

  • 1Knot is i nautical mile / hour which about 1.856km/h or 1.15Miles/hour

  • You can even hear the pilot's voice quiver with the turbulence...and that's supposed to be the calmest part of the plane!!! Scary scary - especially if the voice suddenly stops: "and then I will..." (silence)

  • i like a lot of terbulence i really think its fun i just love it when it comes it make the ride more exciting for me. i know its weird but i just really like it lol.

  • That would scare me shiteless - I'm a terrified flyer and I hate turbulence. I have this silly notion that the plane with either plunge from the sky or the wing will snap off (Yes, I know this stuff doesn't happen... I just think it does.)

  • omg

  • I find the best way to handle turbulence is to lean slightly forward just so that your back isn't touching your seat. Let your body act like a shock absorber and you won't feel the jolts.

  • wow, the pilot is shakig his balls up while he is speaking!!!!! looks like the plane was swinging up there! hahahah

  • Had a real bumpy flight once from Bermuda to Atlanta...it was before I knew a lot about turbulence so I thought I was gonna die lol. I was with a group of 23 people and the only ones who weren't scared were the two girls from Japan. =P

  • now you what happens if you don't switch out your phone!!

  • For some reason in the video the plane looks likes it is going straight down, kind of an optical effect for some reason.

  • wow i get a turbulence of around 130knts when i just took of from Zurich and fly through the red clouds and more still above the alps ... i thought i was gonna crash.it last for around 3 hours

  • Flying is still one of the safest form of transport? yes, BUT if you have an accident in plane, you haven't any chance to survive. i prefere the car :s

  • what is 80 knots speed in english system of miles per hour? can somebody convert that please? Im curious to know. Also im not that bright!

  • @MrFukinfantastic

    80 knots = 92.0623558 miles per hour

  • @cloud1366 Thanks!

  • @cloud1366 Is that fast.

  • @cloud1366 And what is 92 miles per hour converted to km per hour? =)

  • @loch70

    google =P

    92mph = 148,059648 kmh

  • @cloud1366 how many inches per hour is that?

  • @loch70 you can multiply by1.6 every mile to get km

  • @MrFukinfantastic about 92 MPH

  • @campus2411 thank sha!

  • @MrFukinfantastic Alternatively and instantly, go to Google and type: 80 knots in mph

  • @MrFukinfantastic 1 Knot = 1 Nautical Mile per hour = 1.15 Statute Miles per hour (this is the miles we use on earth) so 80 Knots = 80 Nautical Miles = 92 Statutes MIles per hour...

  • @MrFukinfantastic The answer is, and will always be, 42.

  • but your shaking camera is just like a turbelance

  • I do not like turbulence, especially during the night

  • This is baby turbulence......TRUST ME......this ain't nothin'. The day that you cannot reach your thrust levers cause the bumps are ridiculous is the day you see turbluence.....believe it.

  • lol i just want to say to the pilot shut up and concentrate on your flight sometimes. But his voice look so calm

  • @jerarbel

He talks to the passengers for a reason. Some passengers may be feared of flying, in other cases he could be talking about the weather - especially on night flights. If you were in this situation, you'd expect the captain to briefly go over whats happening and what caused it.

  • @Mazza4Azza

ok but the captain could speak just few words; anyone understand turbulence. Not necessary a speech

  • @jerarbel

    true.

  • had some of this flying over the Rockies from Heathrow to LAX, lasted about 35 minutes.

  • worst turbulence i faced was when i was over the indian ocean. we were at 37 thousand and it was getting very bumpy and the captain told everyone to return to their seats. i think we fell 100 feet at one point. thank god it went away in 2 minutes but i know there will be someone out there saying that he is been through worse

  • @whitehawk38 try the c152 at 1500ft and drop a 100ft 2 times... that was pretty nuts.

  • @rischjuice what is a c152

  • Cessna 152 =P

  • while a plane is descending, it glides down about 200- 250 feet per 30 seconds. ( or maybe it was 2000, idr ). if you fell 100 feet in 2 minutes you wouldnt have felt a thing.

  • @johnathon124 no i am saying that we were hitting turbulence at that magnitude for 2 minutes. not falling 100 feet in 2 minutes

  • @whitehawk38 Ohh i understand srry

  • I have seen so much worse than this.

  • Turbulence in the night is the worst! I can't take it. I cry and hold the hand of who ever is next to me.

  • I had an experience of heavy turbulence: our plance had to fly through tropical depression (named Lola, I believe) on the way from Dubai to Mauritius. It was extremely unpleasant experience.

  • For a 737, at 180km/h it would have already stalled..

  • Im scared of flying and i always shut the window thing and put headphones in so i zone out but as soon as i feel turbulence i feel safe because i know im still in the air. haha x

  • @TheSophiieee94

    lol u speaking my thoughts!!

  • get real guys, flying is still one the safest form of transport, or are you gonna getting shit scared in a bus whose driver is speeding along across a road with pot holes like a maniac??

  • @SchwedenMatze If I get in a bus crash, I'll probably walk away in one piece. There is no margin of error for planes. It only has to fail once.

  • @SchwedenMatze think abt it you are helpless in the plane if it crashes from that height u cant do shit and u r certain everyone will die, on the ground at least u can get help much faster and there r never as much ppl on a bus as on a plane!

  • @SchwedenMatze true.. there are more accidents in the roads than at the sky...

  • @SchwedenMatze

    Statistically yes.

But that being said, I'd rather take my chances with a 40mph collision than falling 38,000 feet to the ground. In other words, once something does go wrong up there, your chances are pretty much slim to none.

  • @SchwedenMatze Even if it is the safest method of transport, if you crash your chances of survival aren't in your favour unless you're a skilled pilot.

  • @SchwedenMatze

that's easy to say while sitting here on the ground.

at the least it's very inconvenient and unnerving. while in the situation you have to stay belted, no b-room, no food or drinks.

doens't sound too bad unless it lasts for some time.

if nothing else it's hard to nap:)

  • @SchwedenMatze .........even if you do have a bus crash theres a good chance of survival. Chances of u surviving are nada wen you plummet 30000 ft from d sky!!!............scariest shit ever!!!!!!!!

  • @SchwedenMatze It's the safest form of transport, in a way of speaking, the chances of surviving a car accident or a bus accident are far higher than the chances of surviving a plane crash, in plane chances are close to 0!

  • @Loudyest technically speaking bus and car accidents happen more frequently than planes, and theres still a large amount of these flying all over the world

  • @SchwedenMatze YES. hahaha I think its because people have the mentality that if something happens 30000 feet in the air, where are you going to go? You know?

  • Comment removed

  • 80 knots is quite a lot for cruising altitude & cruising speed

  • ну это страшно (

  • that would be a bad time to half to shit

  • Driving is like Life-Roulete too, but your chances are actually worse.

  • I flew with Qantas Boeing 767-300 from Melbourne to Sydney, during the dust storms.

I have NEVER experienced so much turbulence in my life before, it was crazy!

  • I live in Sweden and flies often through Germany (Frankfurt, Munich etc) when leaving for US and Asia etc.

It seems like its quite often turbulence over Germany, I really dont know why..

  • Any disturbances in an airflow (mountains, islands, etc) Causes the air to form ripples, and thus get unstable. Turbulence ensues

  • Pretty moderate chop there. Us crew kids like to BS the folks in back. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to have a few minor bumps ahead, so I'd like to ask you to fasten your seatbelts like we do up here in the cabin...and...WILL THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS TAKE THEIR SEATS AT THIS TIME!" Whenever you hear the last part of that cockpit speech, get out your barf bag.

  • Yeah, and when the pilots request flight attendants to discontinue meal/beverage service and return to their seats, you know you're in for it. My heart starts pounding at that point.

Usually though, the worst turbulence is the stuff you don't expect. flying along smoothly then all of a sudden out of nowhere, you're getting walloped.

  • i hate it when the put on your seatbelt signs signal is there, its like uh..oh..were in trouble.turbulence again...and i will wish im just dreaming and when i wake up im on my comfy bed already...its like how i wish im harry potter and just evaporate out of thin air if that happens..aaaahhh just turbulence!!!!!

  • i would shit my pants if i was on that flight

  • Don't worry too much, they have para.....I mean life jackets under the seats.

  • he speak so calm :))) .....

  • God that's smooth compared to the turbulence I went thru on the route Milano-São Paulo... The baggage on the top of our head falled down to the floor... the handbag doors opened...

  • turbulence is fun

  • u might think that but what if the plane starts falling

  • haha perhaps-no reason to feel afraid until the captain sounds slightly worried ?

  • I don't think 'Turbulences' is a word... Isn't the correct term Turbulence?

  • i like how the pilot says "thats the reason for all the..... Turbulance" lol i dunno just find it quite amusing.

  • He sounds irish lol

  • Try flying Dash-8 100/300 and those types of planes in wintertime along the norwegian coast :) ride/-s to remember! hehe

I remember last winter we were getting ready for takeoff. The pilot made the plane ready for takeoff with props at max. But we werent moving. Then after like 30 secs or so the pilot said on the speaker that the winds were unstable, coming in from every direction. The reason for waiting. But we had to take off, so it was a rollercoaster ride, but without loops :)

  • This is a cradel to put you to sleep, you want turbulance take a 172 out on a hot summer afternoon with winds aloft gusting to 20.. then we can talk ;)

  • lol, all passengersare scared and the captain is so relax aHahhaha

  • For the captain hade exprencie so much turbulence

  • @StvnBrkbck the captain must sound calm, otherwise there's gonna be a fuckin rampage

  • @StvnBrkbck thats how all captains talk relaxed imagine if he didnt hmmmmm

  • @hottboy19891 thanks, i know, im a pilot =)

  • That hardly is turbulence. The sky is just a little choppy. If circumstances allow it, the pilot will ask ATC for a different (usually higher) flightlevel and if their situation allows it they'll allow the pilot (and you) a smooth ride.

In this video you can keep the camera quite steady all the time. Also I don't see any soft drinks, coffee and other small items flying about the place. So it really wasn't that bad.

  • they are already ready with the service, because we are in the approach to munich. You can see that the seat belt sign is on. It was hard. And i know that the Pilot can ask another Flightlevel. I often fly in the cockpit...

  • you we're in the approach for Munich when the pilot says there's turbulence cuz we're flying over the Alps in Italy..??Doesn't make sens body, and that's nothing turbulence.

  • @cloud1366

    red bull ?

  • @cloud1366 i recently got back from indonesia on the flight the seatbelts sign came on and the pilot warned us that there was going to be turbulence and it was just a little bump

  • it could be a good comment (the showoff of knowledge for no reason) but the last part about things flying about the place was stupid XD

  • your usage of "a little choppy" actually proves this is turbulence because turbulence is caused by "ripples" or "waves" of air in the atmosphere. "a little choppy" suggests that the waves are making the ride a little choppy

  • @archietherobot

You dont have to see soft drinks, coffee and other small items flying about the place experiencing heavy turbulence. How can you keep a camera steady in this situation? Turbulence causes vibrations through the plane so it is impossible to keep the camera steady.

  • I love turbelence, the feeling in your stomach is crazy! Nd you even get a lil sweat if its bad. I was Landing at LHR from Madrid and i was jumping out of my seat, literally i'll never forget it.

    Thanks for uploading 5*

  • lol thats normal turbulence for wind, bad turbulence is when ur jumping in ur seat, that happened to me once and i was crying lol, i was little

  • i've had turbulence so bad, that they had to have an emergency landing. I was on a 757-200 from newark to fort Lauderdale.

  • You call that "very hard"? ... It's not even close to ;)

  • man i hate turbulance either!!

  • Glad I wasn't on that flight!!

  • Oh, if you define that as "very hard turbulences" then you have never experiences correctly strong turbulences.

If the aircraft lost a few hundred metres ...

  • woah! that's pretty hard.

  • Bet that pilot was nervous...

  • Nah, Pilots experience that all the time. They know what to do during Turbulence.

  • Pilots DO get nervous. That is part of human nature. You never know how bad the turbulence may get. I would not want to be on a plane where the pilot never got nervous. Cowboys cause accidents. They are not superhuman as you might think. I know hundreds of pilots personally. You are deceived my friend!

  • Of course a Pilot might get a bit nervous but they remain composed as they know what they're doing. Deceived?! you are very wrong my friend. I know all too well they are not Superhuman as I have 2 relatives and 2 other close Friends who are qualified Pilots, 2 of them operate Transatlantic Flights regularly.

  • Ive had way worse, in a boeing 737 i think we were flying over the blueridge moutains and we dropped 200 feet and went from a 10 degreese angle to a 60 degreese angle (courtesy of the onboard info moniters) all in 3 seconds. It was rough, spills every where and an attendent actually got hurt when he tripped.

  • puertorican...in my car I don't go 550 miles/hour 20,000 ft over ground..so..this plane has been faced with a lot of destructive forces. when severe turbulences are experienced we have to be scared...just think of all the equipment that has to work with all that shaking...motors, pumps, plumbings, hydrolic fluids, all electrical wirings. Plane is made to withstand these forces but with a crazy turbulence like this we are pushing the limits. I am an airplane mechanic and I wish pilots knew these

  • what are you on about?? Turblence is not dangerous?

  • What???!! thats bullcrap. Thpse Planes are designed for it, and while Flying your gonig to face some turbulence. I was in a Plane to Dublin last Year and the landing was rough to say the least, but it was safe to land, if not then the Pilots would have pulled up to go around again. I have Friends and relatives who are Pilotrs and they are all aware of the strengths of Turbulence. If you are really an Airplane Mechanic, then you sound like a very pessimistic one.

  • Turbulence is friggin awesome

  • I friggin agree!

  • tryin 2 comfort people by telling them the fucking temperature as if nothing is happening!

  • What was happening was quite Normal, it happens sometimes during Flights.

  • you have to be kidding me there is nothing comforting about turbulence. Scares the sh*t out of me, but you can't leave your seat to relieve yourself. Sheer torture.

  • A flight without turbulence is almost no fun!

  • Turbulence is all part of it, but for me the less Turbulence the better. Your probably the type who loves Rollercoasters & stuff like that if you like Turbulence. Not for me I'm afraid.

  • Its a horrible feeling alright, but one way of making sure you don't feel the worst is by either sitting over the Wing Area or near the Front. If you sit near the back that always feels worse. Some People love the feeling of Turbulence, thats why Rollercoasters etc are so popular :-D

  • if you think about it, imagine how much you move when your in a car or a bus your always bouncing around it like the same thing with and airplane.

  • ya but its awesome on the back of a bus cuz thats just how it is...but in an airplane its scary cuz it feels the same but like ur in the air so it feels like ur gunna like fall from the sky and die

  • lol , thats what i do ..

  • well i was in turbulence with tuifly in northern italy i think 3 years ago....its a liitle bit like rollercoaster...scary

  • ist the 700 Bette space for 1st class then the 3/400 as i usally fly

  • can turbulence cause a plane 2 crash ????????

  • no there made to flex and the inside cabin is on a floatie thing so it move like crazy

  • Google a Site called Ask Captain Lim and that'll tell you.

  • man I litterly cry when theres turbulence lol

  • Why cry? Turbulence Make You Feel Like you are landing if ou have your eyes closed. It Makes You Feel really comfortable.

  • what?

  • hahahah
