  • Wow - just think....one day he'll grow up and........he'll be older.

  • WOW I hope he keeps playing. Thats natural talent and 1/2.

  • he sucks he sucks he sucks he sucks he sucks

  • come on...how can anyone criticize this kid? He's got "IT". If you don't know anything about the jhimbe or the african drum language you should still be able to appreciate this kid's focus and heart. And to tell you the truth...he is playing skillfully. How many of you critics can do what he is doing?

  • he entrances me every.single.time. dunno abt techniques or whatever but you know he's feeling it and whatever he plays just emanates from his being and THATS beautiful!

  • The kid is great! Sure, he's got bad technique, but his playing is right on time.

  • bravooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • JOB *

  • Awe he's cute.

    Good jopb kiddd :]

  • Look at his face, he's going to be a master!

  • trust me, he's a master allready.

  • the son playing the big drum, blessings. its te BIG DRUM the BIG DRUM, its the drum of Africa, the drum calling AFRICA TO UNITE.

  • fuking niga

  • Why do you have to be like that?

  • great

  • the back up drumming ruins it,i'd rather hear just him playing on his own....the chanting at the start is kinda weird too...lol

  • stormthesenate,4 year old is going to make sounds and do what he wants when he feels the music, more than one drum common is drum circles, hve a good one..

  • Wow! And African Mozart!

  • african mozart are you retarded? at age 4 mozart was shredding on the paino way out of this kids league

  • have you ever played the djembe?

seriously. because it isn't as easy as it looks. you can't even really compare it to piano either, since they're completely different.

  • yeah ok maybe i havnt played what ever the hell that is but im sure piano is harder

  • lol are you seriously dogging on a 4 yr old ? damn a bit of insecurity prob!

Hell yea little man rock on

  • just my opinion

  • people study from master djembe players, sometimes for years

  • I dont get it ? its that hard to do? :O

  • Yes very hard, its just not hitting it there are different ways to hit it as you can guess and really that is amazing.

  • reminds me of my childhood

  • ive been playing djembe for nigh on ten years now and that kid kicks my ass

  • boring..

  • that is fantastic. his hands will be sore. he is so good, i wish i could do it...

  • kids a bad ass!! go on with your bad salf kido !!!

  • I am blown away!!! Four years old and he is well well on his way. I think he's great. He's already getting his own feel. I've done a tad of African dance and I'm telling you, he'd be welcome to sit in and play anytime!

  • This child is very talented .. any of the people posting that said that he isnt obviously have no idea what they are talking about. I bet hes a better drummer at 4 than most of the critics at the age they are now.. I challenge any of them to post a video playing the same style. and for any critic on the list that does'nt its just good old fashioned jealousy! so Dorks put up or SHUT UP!

  • Talk about gifted! So inspiring to see! What an amazing little person!

  • the kid plays korejuga? that's incredible. He has a very advanced understanding of rhythm.

  • that's boring

  • Wow - all these jealous adults and pre-pubescent teens who can't accept the fact that a 4 year old DESTROYS ALL OF THIER HOPES AND DREAMS TO BE A DRUMMER! HAHAHAHAH... THIS KID IS AWESOME!!! HAHAH

  • That guy looks exactly like George W Bush.

  • HE DOES!!! Same expressions...same age!

  • the drum is as big as him

  • Good luck Isaiah,I found this picture of you - You are the little drummer boy - http://mikepower.net/mrpower2/2006/5/22/the-little-drummer-boy.html

  • I agree with you two^

  • I don't think this is his best performance and at 4 it has to be hard to get them to concentrate.

****** I hear he got an offer too I saw an announcement here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyydSOL8YDs

  • This kid got an offer for product endorsement - leave him alone. You are not the experts..

  • Guys, quit criticizing a 4 year old kid. I pesonally think he possesses a great amount of talent. His rythm and his devotion to this instrument is what makes him stand out. Just like poking keys on a piano does not demonstrate a talent, it is they rythm expressed through it which demonstrates it.

  • NO banging with a RYTHEM on a drum requiers talent. and this 4 year old kid CAN do it. He is 4 so dont expect amazing skills but for a 4 year old its pretty amazing.

check this video and tell me this kid doesnt have rythm..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyydSOL8YDs

If he was taught professionaly he would probably be amazing. He's got the raw talent and it needs to be nutured.

  • yeah bangin on a drum requires much talent (sarcasm again)

  • the new mamady!

  • You people who rank this high have no ear for musicality or tempo. This four year old has neither. But that's okay...he's four. Make another vid of him in a few years. Until then, he's just a kid banging on a drum.

  • actually, if you have any idea of rhythm and especially polyrhythms, you would find that this is actually VERY impressive for a four year old to be pulling off...

  • So this 4 year old was intentionally making a polyrythm?? Oh I see. *rolls eyes* I'm not expecting amazing skills from a 4 year old...but overpraising and calling this "a polyrythm" just isn't realistic. Come on. He's four.

  • I'm not accidentally hearing polyrhythms... 'come on. he's four' is EXACTLY why this is amazing

  • No doubt, he's good for his age. But noting his polyrhythmic skill is a stretch. Next time I hear a baby cry and a dog fart at the same time, I'll be sure to praise them both for making such beautiful polyrhythms. ;)

PS- I checked out your videos. You've got skills! Nice work.

  • heh, thanks a lot.

ok, I agree with you that the kid might not KNOW he's doing polyrhythms, but he is. haha. he might just be playing from his heart, which is great, but he is pulling off rhythm fundamentals without even realizing it

  • to these kids' parents, you are so blessed...bless you!

  • to those of you who are posting stuff putting this kid down, you are obviously oblivious to what talent this kid has. he is four years old and he already has a big grasp on the fundamentals of djembe. definitely a prodigy! i am a fan of yours kid. keep it up.

  • check out his thank you to fans video posted today 6/25 he tries to teach you how to play djembe, it is so cute.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWybgHBhipA

  • omg - i found this cute video of isiah and his little brother drumming on his website http://www.rootsyrecords.com/VIDEO/LittleDjembefolas.wmv

  • dats talent!...i wanna see u in the future...

  • wow, a 4 year old playing a 9/8 time signature, jeez, keep your eyes on him. He's obviously a reincarnated master drummer. Thanks for the video.

  • **** check this out -the guy playing djembe seated in the center is isaiah's dad... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMr2xniDU8I

  • mozart

  • can't wait to see you in a couple of years ...

  • wow what talent.....(sarcasm)

  • Probably better than you when you were 4 years old.

    You're lame.

  • yeh exactly lol

  • would love to see you do that as a 4 year old kid.

  • say hello to daddy and keep up the good work

  • When is baby brother going to join you in one of your videos? New Djembe's on Malidirect are beautiful.

  • Give that boy 5 stars! Very good and cute too.

  • hes veryveryvery good!!!

  • Love your videos, you will break a lot of hearts when you grow up...
