Kiefer is actually a very genuine person, which you'll see in "I Trust You to Kill Me". If he doesn't want to do something, he won't do it. He's proud of who he is, and I respect him for it. I know he prefers to be called "Kiefer", not even Rocco Deluca gets to call him "Kief" and that says something.

Also, a funny interview isn't a waste of time. Based upon how well the celeb reacts, it tells you a lot about how vapid (or smart) the interviewee is. Take Jordan's Megan Fox interview, for example. Her inability to get the OBVIOUS joke tells you a lot about what is(n't) going on in her brain. She is a hack. The interview proved that.

he's usually the nicestguy. think he felt awkward, which i get. the interviewer tried 2 get as much out of him as he could, & Kiefer didn't wanna be all fake & pretend 2 actually enjoy this. good 4 him. he's polite to interviewers and paparazzis but never overly nice, coz they r doing a job, & they r not always the nicest ppl. but with fans he's amazing. always signs, takes pictures, smiles 2 everyone, coz he knows they stand around waiting 4 him, & they care about him & watch his work.
