There is hairline difference between the respect for a saint and committing shirk (defined as believing that Allah has partner(s) in His attributes or qualities) Intercession (shifaat) of Rasool (sw) is a blessing that we pray for. By this we mean The Prophet (SW) will be our advocate on the Day of Judgement. That we wish and pray for. In a nutshell, no one but Allah can grant our prayers. Any deviation from this will most likely lead us to commission of shirk- so better avoid that path. Peace!
People who worship the creation and ask help from the creation rather than the Creator (Allah Almighty). This is shirk and the greatest crime in Islam as stated in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
The place, the method and manner of seeking is clearly apparent from the qabar prast log. If you want to play with words and your Deen, that is your choice. My only sincere advice would be for you to learn the foundation of Islam which is Tawheed and also learn its opposite: Shirk.
