I think racing is not a bad sport, the horses love to run. I think that the problem is specific trainers who do horrible things to their horses.

I love this video, but i dont respect racing very much. My horse came from that background and they have scared him very badly. I cannot even take a whip or crop near him just to tell him to move his shoulder over.

racing risks the horse's life just as much or more than the rider. why, as a horse lover, would you place a beautiful animal in that risky situation for the mere 2 minute thrill?

i fail to see how a glorifying horse-racing video, albeit well-made, can be perceived in an admiring light.

i am not putting down your video skills at all - i am usually an enormous fan of everything you are able to do - this is just mildly disturbing to my ethics.

sorry not trying to pick a fight or anything cause i dnt really like racing either.. but if u think about it.. all racing isnt bad.. its the trainers and owners who make it dangerous... they can push the horses too hard and mistreat them when they arent good enough

the owners and trainers who do care enough dont have horses with any more injuries than any other equestrian sport
