@masterreflex You mean growling? It's something that takes getting used to. I mean back in the day I thought it was pretty hilarious as well. You get used to it, and then you start liking it. If you're talking about the music's agression then you don't see the gimmicks and the concept. Technical and all about having fun, no genericism included. True music indeed. It might be hard to listen to if you've taken comfort in the mainstream.

@666deathghost Well you know just the evilness that the bands try to portray to you. I mean you listen to some awesome Black or Death Metal, you can rank them regarding how extreme they are, but you don't actually get scared and think "my god these guys are pure evil". I mean the "I hail lucifer" gimmicky sort of shit. Truth be told, most Black and Death Metal bands don't give a shit about their lyrics. The music as a whole including the vocals is what makes an extreme metal act.

@Intanius yea man that's what iv'e been thinking, for ages iv'e been looking at c.d's in the metal section at HMV and saw there name Anal Vomit, but if anything the name kinda discouraged me from buying it, since they just sound like some shitty grind/death core band or something. I'm glad i looked them up there awesome, there like a darker version of Witchaven, combined with the heaviness of old Sepultura. very good stuff indeed.

No olvides que tambien es un medio de expresion...en este caso, muy extrema; si yo quisiera darle placer a mis sentidos, saco mi CD de "Explosions in teh Sky" y asunto arreglado, pero cuando quiero sacar la rabia que llevo dentro escucho algo de "Anal Vomit" y lo hago.
