He presented his 14 points in front of Congress but they rejected it. So supporters of a separate Muslim country told Jinnah to work for a country where Muslims and other minorities will not be persecuted. With hard work Jinnah and the other All Indian Muslim League Members created Pakistan.

After 63 years of separation from India, there is worst law & order situation, Punjab Army Fighter jets & helicopters bombing in Sawat, Baluchistan and other Parts of Pakhtunkhwa Province. @mathaisam Why should there be an argument about whose better Jinnah or Gandhi ? Pakistan or India ? Let's all hope both India and Pakistan progress to become Developed Nations and get rid of common problems - Corruption, Poverty, Famine, Diseases & Literacy. That way, we both can undo the hatred and intolerance that our ancestors had of each other and become like France and United Kingdom are today and perhaps even form an Asian Union =) for the progress of Humanity and peace for our children.

Quaid e Azam was internationally known personality, and Iqbal was known just in the region. And what's the contribution of Iqbal in Pakistan, that he died years before 1947.
