I honestly like this version better than the newsong, correct me if I'm wrong, orginal. The newsong version is so slow it actually gets boring to listen to. I like slow songs and in fact some of my songs are slow but this song really needs to be a but more upbeat.

Agreed. This type of music is just punk rock. Its upbeat, catchy and the meanings behind all of them are just heartwarming. All you have to do .. is listen..
fm static version is like nails on a chalkboard! there is no talent here and i have no idea how anyone likes this. i had to pause this video while i typed because it almost made me lose my mind!
how can you say that? there's harmony, good guitar and drums. im pretty sure it takes talent to do that stuff. plus you don't cry when you listen to this one. so it's easier to listen too haha
well think about it musically. The bass drum is being played, the guitar chord progression follows a punk rock style. And there's octaves on it, the bass is groovy. Just the typical punk rock music style. The tempo is up a little but if it was really slow it would sound dumb.
