Biggest thing I notice is ammo. Not paying for powder, primers and brass cases hmmm. Yeah I work out on pump for that. Can't but my cartridges that cheaply unless I learn to reload, which I may also do but seriously it's starting to look like by brass is simply paying for convenience of not getting shape. As pcp airguns get better I'm wishing i had played with them and I can kinda see where they might one day provide a case less ammunition solution. they are getting seriously more real.

All my typos. I meant to say I have not shot one. I still think the noise difference would be a good reason. My reason no.2 is their demonstrated ballistics. Yeah they don't have rifle range maybe like I'm used to... but I seldom shoot over 200 yards anyway. Hunting public ground that might be bonus and 100 yards still mops up bow range even with the best crossbows. As far as energy they actually beat most pistol rounds I know of and accuracy to beat a handgun is easy.

I have been watching air gun hunting video for big bore airguns and they are fueling an interest in me. I'm several compelling reasons I might consider buying one and I'm not a fellon. Yes big bore are loud but compared to my .243 or better yet an 30.06 you're kidding right? Nothing I've seen yet with hundreds of powerful airguns quite compares to the boom of regular firearm. I have shot one and could be wrong but I don't see many airgunners using ear protection.
