hmmm the phrasing from this rendition is very reminiscent of the style from the album Population Override. I kept hearing familiar bits and parts from songs like Earth Heals Herself, Cruel Reality of Nature, etc.
Man, i've heard every version of animal behavior on you tube but I’ve never heard it better than this. tbh it seems like he’s more in to it in this time. Even the distortion of the guitar i like... don't ask me why.
@jewelfewel correct, the body and fretboard are oversized to fit big B, watch some of his old deli creep videos, the guitar hes using there looks so small compared to him, and the bucket makes him look even bigger.
@SuperSneakySteve Nope, he always plays his white Les Paul. Les Pauls don`t have a whammy bar because the bridge is on top of the wood. Guitars like Steve Vai`s or Satriani (both Ibanez) have their bridge into the wood and they have special adaptations for the whammy bar. Does that clear your doubt? :)
@BucketTribute According to Pebber Brown (his teacher), he would practice from 10-12 hrs. a day! Now that's dedication... but look where all that practice has brought him in life...
@BucketTribute According to Pebber Brown (his teacher), he would practice from 10-12 hrs. a day! Now that's dedication... but look where all that practice has brought him in life...
@MrFluffay Well when his was younger... he took lessons from various teachers at Styles Music guitar shop located near his old (and probably still current home). But the man who is most noted as teaching him at Styles was Pebber Brown. He did take lessons from Paul Gilbert for a year like he stated. But as far as actually teaching him and giving him all the information that he needed to be where he is now, that was all done by the guys at Styles Music shop and especially Pebber Brown. Look up PB
@MrFluffay I couldn't finish what I was saying on here because of the character limits. But what I was trying to say is to look up Pebber Brown here on youtube, find his channel, and if you would like to learn a whole whole lot more about guitar and learn that same stuff that Buckethead did, then watch his videos and learn. He's an excellent teacher. Just don't bother him with asking stupid questions about when he used to teach Buckethead. He gets annoyed by that. lol
@MrFluffay Pebber Brown Highly Influenced Brian Caroll, And Some say Paul Gilbert " Taught " Buckethead, But I personally Think they Would've Learnt From Eachother.
@BucketTribute According to Pebber Brown (his teacher), he would practice from 10-12 hrs. a day! Now that's dedication... but look where all that practice has brought him in life...
He perfected the solo 11 years before this was filmed, this has more soul but if you want screaming emotion you gotta check this version out, the sound quality isn't perfect but it's good enough to give ya chills:
watch?v=LKIahqJkbxU&feature=related
that pretty much can't be outdone in my humble opinion.
Nice job with a guitar that was picked from the trash. I hope he found something to eat too. I guess thats what the bucket is for.

@michiganboy10 why?

@TheSlevaslava
I think it's because some of his songs are recorded in E standard and some are in E flat so he has just made an compromise to play in E flat.

i've heard that his white les paul is actually a bit larger than the standard size. he said the regular sized ones feel like "toys in his hands".
