i've grown up eating meat all my life. anyone have any tips on how to kinda get away from that like slowley ween yourself off? i am so use to it but i love animals far too much and i've come to the decision that i dont want to eat meat anymore, but its way easier said than done especially if you've been eating it for 23 years.
@meselstudios A great way to start on the path to veganism is by finding some delicious vegan recipes. Just search "vegan recipes" in your favorite search engine. Once you realize there is plenty of delicious food to eat without hurting others, it will be easier than expected.
I worked about two weeks at a huge farm where I collected around 100,000 eggs in five days. The corridors were so long and the air so dusty,it was impossible to see the other end of the building. I came home every day with a temperature over 101 degrees and the masks provided only worked 60%. Wounded chickens had to be removed for other chickens would eat at the wounds until it died. Mites and other things defeathered lots of birds and you had to watch your step, there were so many chickens.
Wonderful video!!! I love to watch this and see goodness from people!!! Good work!

Soo.... do they get killed and eaten once they reach a certain age?

No. UPC provides a permanent sanctuary for these rescued birds to live out their lives. We consider them friends, not food.

These are all rescued factory farm chickens? Do they ever grow their beaks back? I was just wondering if they do or not.

They are all rescued chickens from various abusive situations, not just from factory farms.
The industry debeaks some birds a second time to correct a botched job and because young birds beaks can grow back
