Once your tail bone and sacrum are level and symmetrical along with your pelvis, you may be able to ride pain free. But if the muscles of the pelvic floor and hips are not treated and tone normalized, the trigger points and pain may still be there.
My physical therapist is wonderful~after seeing over 4 doctors about my severe tailbone pain (radiated apparently from my sacrum) &low back pain, she is now beginning treatment for sacral torsion. I know this will be a long process (and an awkward set of procedures) but I am praying this will do the trick. I recently have been dx w/ autoimmune issues (arthirits, rheum factor/ANA + and Sjogren's +) so we were sure the pain was arthritic in nature.
Who is your physical therapist? I had sacral pain for 4 years.

If this is corrected, I can ride my bike for longer periods, sit more in one place, etc! =)
