  • Looks and probably sounds hell of a lot better on that duramax than your POS powerjoke!

  • @toofst911 yea sure on a Duramaxy Pad

  • @ShadyCaveman568 why is it Diesel Power mag does more articles on Duramax's than Powerstrokes?

  • @snakesonaplane2 what does that have to do with anything? why is it that most car magazines do more articles on imports than they do on exotic cars (more scions, hondas, and suburu articles over lamborghini, ferrari, and porsche?) - has nothing to do with the performance of a vehicle

  • @ShadyCaveman568 totally different reason bro, first off i don't know what you're reading but i don't buy magazines with little japanese cars in it, second they don't feature exotics in most because 90% of the population can't afford those cars, and the ones that do don't want to read about it, they just drive them, i mean magazines like Car and Driver and Motor Trend feature them when they come out, so what more must be said? they don't need to be molested like everything else

  • @snakesonaplane2 ok so whats your point?...

  • @ShadyCaveman568 the point is you're talking shit on an engine that's just as good if not better than the Powerstroke

  • @snakesonaplane2 when did I talk shit about an engine? Calling it a Duramaxy Pad is not talkin shit, it's called a pun dumbass, if anything the guy before me (toofst911) was the one talking shit buddy, so #GTFOOH

  • @ShadyCaveman568 actually toofst911 is saying the exhaust in the vid probably sounds better on the truck on that website, which was a Chevy, he said POS powerjoke so by all the evidence he's clearly a Duramax fan and doesn't like the Powerstroke

  • @snakesonaplane2 okay I'm a Powerstroke and Cummins fan and I don't like Duramax so what's the difference between me making fun of Duramax and him making fun of Powerstroke? #smh

  • @ShadyCaveman568 because the Duramax is worth a damn, and so was the Powerstroke until the 6.0 came out, that was a joke

  • @snakesonaplane2 actually now that you have said that I agree, luckily I have the original 7.3L in my Excursion. The rest can suck a dick.

  • stupid cops, if they want your car quiet, why dont they pay for it then?

  • @chevyman5436 your retarded

  • were do you live cuz were i live if a cop see's you blowin black smoke bam $5000 ticket we try are hardest not to do iit in front of a cop but we did smoke out a cop like a week ago whith my dad's 7.3l air intake exstost and a 6 postion tuner and it smoke's like crazy and a 6in lift and alot more

  • thats a nice looking chev in that picture

  • lol, take this video down before your parents get arrested and hassled by green peace. Straight Pipe FTW

  • I imagine it will sound and look great, will look for the video.

I just have a high-flow Magnaflow and Super 40 Flowmaster for my Jeep ready to go on.

  • That stinks. Here in Florida we don't have emissions or safety inspections. When the time comes for new tags you just send them a check and your on your way.

  • ah it should look nice and sound nice, and too bad you have to exit at the rear, i guess since the Excursion has passengers all the way back, the exhaust thus has to exit at the rear of the passenger area, i should have no problems with my exhaust, i can exit in front of the rear tires with no problem, since the bed on a pickup isn't a area for passengers! yep duals out each side in front of the rear tires, i think it will look sharp on my '77 F-150 4x4 short box

  • i cant wait til you get a video of it i wanna hear it!

  • or you could just buy a cheap one to pass, then take it off after you pass. just slap it back on every time you need a safety inspection.

  • cool that will sound awsome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i didnt no they made a 5" for the x i was goin to go with 4 but no i no theres 5 im there

  • Not sure I understand. It won't pass safety because you've chopped off the cat and your exhaust, for whatever reason, is in the middle of the vehicle?

  • its because its in the middle that it won't pass, the gas fumes will enter the vehicle and possibly kill the passengers from carbon monoxide poisoning, thats why it won't pass. the cat and muffler don't matter because its a diesel and it was a safety test only, not emissions.

  • I see. He's in a differant state than me and I've never had to deal with legit inspections on any of my vehicles (do them myslef) but that makes sense I suppose.

  • lol, nice

  • i figured it was illegal since the exhaust is supposed to exit behind the passenger compartment.

  • ya pickup trucks are lucky, they can exit in front of the rear tires, since the passenger compartment is the cab

  • sucks lol

  • Silverline exhaust systems make a great product! Cant wait to hear the 7.3L with it!

Ahh, good old MI not giving a shit about the vehicle we drive. No inspections or tests of any kind! Awesome. Too bad its not the same there, but now you can see the smoke again which is a great joy. Keeps the talk gaters off too.

  • You can put the silverline to pass the inspection, and after re-install your old straight pipe.

    It´s just an idea...

  • I love Florida, no inspection ^-^.... it least not yet :\

  • I love the country, no inspections at all. :)

  • they used too long time ago but as u n me c there not any more

  • yeah it is really nice down here now we can do some preforamnce upgrades and not have to worry about inspection like we did in ny!

  • I'd rather have inspections to keep unsafe vehicles off the road, thanks.

although I DO hate emissions inspections, those suck.

  • A safety check to renue your license?? Man i'm glad we don't have that here, my truck would have been off the road long time ago lol. We only have a safety if you change owner.

  • only time anything in sask needs a check over is when it is bought out of province. that is the only time. when it changes oweners you just show the papers and away you go!

  • Luckey M******** So that's why theres still so many old junker clunkers on the road in Saskatchewan :D

  • yea we drive em till the wheels fall off then we put the wheels back on a get another 200 thousand miles out of em.

  • Same way here in the U.S. State of Kansas, we don't have ANY type of inspection if the car is from Kansas, doesn't matter how old the title is, or what condition the car is, as long as its a Kansas title, you free to go.

We don't have Emissions tests either

    Sweet........

  • NOOOOO!!!!

Oh well. I'll bet it'll sound great, but not as great as it is now!

And I KNOW it will look awesome, can't wait to see that smoke again! :)

  • well that sucks but atleast they dont count on the muffler etc
