  • why don't you blink?!?

  • @Dominico97 Does it fucking matter?

  • @SlamageEntertainment YESS!!!! it's freaky as hell

  • @Dominico97 No, this video isn't really meant to watch, more to fucking listen. If you find him staring at the camera freaky, than you're an idiot.

  • I do believe you are my new hero. I actually get your jokes, so no need for subtitles.

  • Consumer Reports came out this month with their ratings on CFL's. They claim they are much dimmer then the incandascent light bulb and causes eye strain. Just as I claimed 3 years ago! Thank God I stocked up on incandescent light bulbs! $100 savings on electricity a year using CFL's ain't worth shit compared to saving my eyesight! And as for the environment, lights have nothing to do with it. just another propaganda ploy by the tree hugging, global warming crackpots!

  • I have a simple solution for you, why not go the whole nine yards and buy LED bulbs. They practically last a life time, make CFL's look like energy guslers, never heat up much and have been around for ages(just not in a very powerfull form)

  • Obama says things to just get elected they all do. They are all apart of the illuminati that wants a one world government they don't care about our health or safety.

  • I loaded up as much as possible on 60 watt ight bulbs I would rather pay less than more for these toxic bulbs. They have mercury in them, and they can cause you to have health problems. I'm willing to write to the government about it a bill was passed but it can be overturned. I'm not expecting this but I'm at least doing something.

  • Are you angry at light bulbs? And aren't we all allergic to mercury?

  • @thybigballs You will understand when it starts to cause you health problems.

  • @Retro80Lady30 I do understand the health issues associated with the bulbs. However, I suggest that we should look at the bigger picture. Watch this video which shows what I am implying: /watch?v=cA2E14uKyZY

  • actually comrade means friend, coleage or ally, it is a positive term

  • @esbendit I don't like CFL's because they are dimmer and just butt ass ugly! I will continue to use incandacent light bulbs. Nanny government is not going to dictate to me what I can and cannot use!

  • Not all CFLs lamps have Hg, and there are LED bulbs that run for 20 years.

Not happy about the rant on various other irrelevant points before criticizing CFLs. There was a brief controversy here in New Zealand about Hg in CFLs until it was realised not all CFLs use mercury and those that do have very small amounts. No special company is required for disposal here. Retailers prefer to stock non mercury CFLs out of sensitivity to consumer concerns.

  • lol the first 15 seconds of this video are hilarious

  • Right-wing tool.

  • @fatouche99 Your brain is as dim as a CFL light bulb!

  • @newalm Your point is lost when people with CFLs, outputing equivalent of 120W from incandescent bulb, like the two I have that draw 20W.

  • @EmmittBrownBTTF1 How come the greenies turn a blind eye to the fact there is mercury in the CFL's? You would think they would have a fit like they do everything else that is not "green".

  • @newalm Perhaps its that CFL reduce mercury emissions from coal fired power-plants verall reducing environmental HG emissions.. Its simple just get an Hg free CFL or opt for LED lighting. But remember most CFLs only have a minuscule amount of Hg. an article on scientificamericandotcom is apparently quote mined from time to time see article.cfm?id=are-compact-fluorescent-lightbulbs-dangerous on the SA site.

  • @newalm It's not about "green", it's about control.

  • @EmmittBrownBTTF1 I tested a 100 Watt CFL in my kitchen and it was too dim, bad enough it caused me headaches. I put a regular incandescent 100 Watt bulb back in its place and it was brighter and fine and I could read a cookbook again without straining my eyes! The actual test itself is all I need so all that wattage equivalence is pointless.

  • @newalm So perhaps one bulb was faulty or the manufacturer isn't meeting standards or the bulb was mis-labled, You could try another or perhaps a 120w bulb may more appropriate in that room. Consider also the color of the bulb somewhere around 3000k much like an incandescent bulbs output. Color above 4000k(bluer) are sometimes described as "harsh".

The hoarding behaviour doesn't seem sensible since the fittings on the bulbs may rust/corrode before you get to use them.

  • @EmmittBrownBTTF1 Hoarding is just fine with me Will not have to buy a bulb again and I have them stored in a good environment where they will not rust or corrode.

  • I may already have 20 years worth of 100 watt light bulbs. I lost track since I have been buying since 2007!

  • I just wish I stocked up on R12 freon too! I did not know the global warming nut jobs banned sales in 1993. I would have stocked up many cans worth!

  • Still stocking up on 100 watt bulbs though since many rooms in my house use those. I think I will need to stock up on about 10 more packs and I will have enough to last me 20 years.

  • I just bought more incandescant light bulbs yesterday. I think now I have enough for almost 20 years!

  • @nakedmambo Hey, how in the hell does light bulbs have to do with that junk science of global warming? In America, most electricity comes from hydro electric power. Las Vegas and Los Angeles power comes from Hoover Dam! You know, "water". And I recall, water does not contribute to global warming. Speaking of global warming, do you blame neanderthal man for the melting of the ice age? I guess it was their SUV's, and polluting factories that caused the ice age to metl?

  • One thing I know will happen. When the phase out happens, people who use incandescent light bulbs and did not bother to stock up, or did not pay any attention to them being banned, there will still be a big demand for these light bulbs! I bet if you stock up enough, you can sell on Ebay and make a good profit!

  • Is the phase out in 2014? Great! I thought it was in 2012. I still have more time to stock up on even more bulbs!

  • @newalm yeah the phase out is gona be the 100 and 80watt bulbs in 2012, 60 and 40 watt bulbs in 2014. I dont really have use for the higher wattages but im gona use them anyway just to piss off these mentally challanged greenies. Luckly for me, most of my light fixtures only require 60 wattages. i used a few cfls many years ago and their light quality looks like pure sh*t and they dont last any longer than an incandescent bulb. so u know these hippies and greenies are bull shitters

  • @noreaga12326 I did not know that. I am glad you told me. I will make it a priority to stock up on more 100 watt bulbs between now and 2012. I have bought packs of 95 watt bulbs which are as bright as 100 watts, but I cannot even find those. They only now have 71 watts. Forget that! I did buy two packs of 100 watts from Amazon.

  • You ramble a lot, mostly about other people. I don't give a shit if you worship capitalism and believe it's the singular route to world freedom, but don't pretend you've 'proved' it. Change your name to 'How I believe the world works' because that's all it is.

  • Those curly bulbs suck! I just found out by chance 3 years ago when I purchased a 100 watt curly bulb. It had the brightness of a 40 watt bulb! I threw it away. Yes, THREW IT AWAY! I heard similar complaints about those eco freak bulbs. When California libtards tried to ban them in 2007, that is when I began stocking up. I will not let those dim ugly ass curly bulbs light um my house with a dull brightness! leave that to the socialist countries!

  • I am so glad I don't live in Europe! They don't have choices in Europe as we do in America! Even though the statist liberals in America are trying to become dictators in every aspects of our lives, telling what we can and cannot eat, what cars to drive, when and when we cannot use our AC, banning plastic bags, styrofoam cups, etc, at least we can still buy the incandascent light bulbs before they do disappear from the store shelves.

  • Comment removed

  • For the past 3 years I have been stocking up on incandesant light bulbs. I think I have enough to last at least 10 years.

  • ehm... Check your facts. We already have a light bulb ban in Europe and we're now starting to phase out mercury as well. So no more light? No instead of low efficiency light bubls wich wastes 97-98% of the energy start using LEDs.

To produce 100 lm you need 15W if you use a normal light bulb. If you use LEDs you only need 3W. But no... let's continue to waste 80% of our resources because you don't like to be told what to do...

  • @aakesson1 u seem to be so concerned about OTHER PEOPLE and how energy they use. Why not worry about your own energy consumption and stay out of peoples business. you're another typical environmental nut job who probably thinks that light bulbs are helping melt the ice in the North Pole. Just because they banned bulbs in Europe, doesnt mean its the right solution. in the US, most ppl want more freedom and less government. ur doing us all a favor by staying in europe which is turning communist

  • @noreaga12326 Tool. Why do dumb Americans like you and this noisy fool in the video not understand that it's not about 'bulb freedom', but about legislating to encourage what laziness and habits impede?

Too many people bicker about pointless little 'freedoms' and ignore important ones. Lose this fantasy that America is a land of freedom and Europe is in social prison.

  • @nakedmambo ohhh shut up. Nobody is going to tell me what light bulbs i can buy in MY home. If u enjoy government telling you how to live your life, go for it. But since IM the guy thats paying for stuff around here, then i will decide what light bulbs i can use. me ramble? You had to post twice to prove a point. As if i really give a sh*t about your opinion in the 1st place. As i said, stay in Europe where government will tell u what bulbs to use, when to eat and when 2 sh*t, Get lost lib-tard

  • @noreaga12326 You arrogant piece of shit. You're so thick you think that paying for things entitles you to waste energy. So obsessed with the idea that someone is telling you what to do instead of legislating for a reason, that you post this ranting shit up on You Tube. If you had a brain and had ever stepped out off your own backyard you'd know freedoms are no different in Europe. Keep dreaming that you live in a free utopia; you'll have to because it isn't and never has been. Imbecile.

  • @nakedmambo Amazing how i can ruin ur weekend, even on a utube video. The real problem here is that paranoid little hippies and environmentalists such as yourself are always sticking ur noses into other ppls business. Worry about how much energy YOU use in YOUR home and quit meddling in other ppls lives. If i wana use only incandescents and burn them 24 hours a day, thats my right to do so. When u start paying my light bill, then u can tell me what bulbs i can use. Until then, fuck off

  • @noreaga12326 What you do impacts on other people and the world, so everyone DOES pay for it. The rest of the world is sick to the back teeth of pricks like you who think you can do as you like. A better use of energy would be to burn motherfuckers like you instead. Why don't you fuck off, rather than spreading your bullshit gospel of the so-called right to never be restricted in anything.

  • @nakedmambo DAMN RIGHT WE CAN DO AS WE LIKE! WE ARE A FREE NATION!

  • @newalm Go and wave a flag you idiot.

  • @nakedmambo I do, I put Old Glory out on Constitution Day yesterday!

  • Comment removed

  • @nakedmambo you're a moron. We've been using incandescents for over 100 years and it hasnt affected anyone but the ppl who use it. Again, you're a busy body little hippie whos worried about what others do. Me using incandescents isnt affecting u. So get off the BS already and stfu. CFL lights look like sh*t. I'm not turning my home into the inside of a hospital waiting room cuz of u moron greenies thinking "it will save the planet" go check urself into a mental institute now.

  • @nakedmambo Give a politician an inch in taking away a "little freedom", they will take a mile! Americans don't take for granted liberty and freedom and will defend it, no matter how little it may be!

  • @newalm Okay. Do you think that doesn't happen in England (where that idea was exported from to the U.S.) and everywhere else in the West? Understand this: the U.S. is not uniquely blessed with special ideas of freedom.

  • @nakedmambo Actually, in Canada, Germany and England, you don't have freedom of speech! You can be arrested for "offending" someone! There are cases if someone criticized Muslims, they were arrested! You can't own firearms, and now you don't have choices in light bulbs! What next? Tell what you can and cannot eat? What cars you can and cannot drive? I bet it is on the way in Europe! Why? Because the politicians think they know what is best for you and will impose it by mandate!

  • @newalm That's simply lies. I live in Europe, in The Netherlands - and I have lived in Germany. No-one is arrested for "offending" people, even Muslims. We can own firearms, you just need a license, it's called sensible gun-ownership. Everywhere has some limits to freedom of speech, including the U.S. People who say unpalatable things about American policy, whom the authorities think might be bad for PR, are regularly gagged. Too many Americans get false second-hand news about Europe.

  • @nakedmambo That is not true, in America, you can say "unpalatable things" about American policy that might be bad PR. Don't know where you get that idea! Why was 14 year old Codie Scott of Harrop Fold High School was arrested and jailed because in she told her teacher she wanted to sit in another science group because she could not understand the five in her group who spoke Urdu and did not understand what they were saying! She was charged with "racial public-order offence".

  • @newalm What are going to do, rake up and trade instances where the goverment has gagged citizens? We can do that, I have some too. And what will we learn? That freedom of speech is being challenged everywhere it exists, here and there. The U.S. is not exempt. You need to learn this.

  • @nakedmambo Then you admit you don't have freedom of speech! I am an American and we do have Freedom of speech! The only thing you cannot do is yell "fire" in theater or threaten a public officals life! That is it!

  • @newalm I never said we don't have freedom of speech, I said we do. If you can't even discern that and get it right, what hope have you of anything else?

  • Codie Stott was arrested, fingerprinted, DNA samples taken, removed her shoelaces put her in a cell for three and a half hours, and questioned her on suspicion of committing a Section Five "racial public order offence". All she did was say she wanted to sit in another science group because she could not speak "Urdu" whatever the hell that is! Probably some raghead language! Ooops, I could now be charged with Section Five if I were in England!

  • @newalm More likely you'd be thought of as a dick.

  • @nakedmambo The Islamo Fascists will take over Europe since there are too many pussies worried if some raghead is "offended" Look at France! England let teenage rioters take over the streets! If they did that here in America, they would be shot be home and business owners! We don't fuck around here with political correctness when it comes to defending our lives and property!

  • @newalm Big fat yawn. So you shoot each other, we already knew that. Too angry and obsessed about property to work things out properly, so instead you lay the foundations for more problems while solving nothing at all and never really finding out why. Well done.

And the same sort of stupidity took place in England anyway, they just locked people up. People who steal a ice-cream cone get jail, bankers and crooked landlords get away with anything. You make me sick, I'm going to bed.

  • @nakedmambo "Work things out properly"? What does that mean "negotiate with the rioters"? Typical European thinking!

  • @newalm No, it means finding the root of the problems rather than firing blindly into an abyss. I don't expect you to even approach an understanding. You're another Americunt who comforts himself that Europe is peopled by metrosexuals. Pop over to Europe and you'd be in for a rude awakening when some 6' 4" farm hand bounces your head off the pavement.

  • Comment removed

  • @nakedmambo If some 6'4 farm hand tries and bounces my head off the pavement, he will not get the chance because the 45 cal will be going through his head fist!

  • @newalm Big man with a gun. He'd cram it up your arse before then.

  • @nakedmambo Nope, the homo would never get the chance!

  • @newalm That's whatI said: you'd never get the chance, homo.

  • @newalm What is the farm hand going to do? Tippy toe with his pitch fork? Yeah, right!

  • @nakedmambo No, I would not be firing blindly into the abyss, I would be firing into a bunch of scumbags intent on burning my home!

  • Comment removed

  • @nakedmambo CFLs contain mercury. It may not be a lot of mercury but enough to hurt somebody. they say that cfls have to be properly disposed when done with them. How many ppl do u think are gona actually take the time to drive a light bulb around in their cars, waste gas money just to recycle them??VERY FEW! So that "little mercury" will add up to one big mess. For a person whos so concerned about our planet, moron greenies like u always wana ignore the mercury in these bulbs. You're brainless

  • @noreaga12326 We have an organised recycling programme. And 99% of the bulbs going there are unbroken, special containers are provided for containing any breakages. But, you ask, is it worth it in the long run? Yes it is, because the gain in energy saving is massive overall, and amount of mercury from a small amount of bulbs is not widely dispersed (it does not all become airborne) and is smaller than any other mercury-containing technology. It's a tiny risk you're using for a political point.

  • @nakedmambo if the energy savings is that good, consumers can decide that for themselves. Government doesnt need to tell ppl how to spend their money, how much energy they need to save or use by using light bulbs, running heaters or a/c's. If the world thought like u, we'd have government knocking on everyones door telling ppl to stop using these electric things in our homes on a daily basis. Not only are u environmentalists busy bodies but u dont even live in the US. so try not 2lose sleep

  • @noreaga12326 Did you know that Berkeley California has a "Green" Gestapo? About two years ago they are requiring that all appliances be "green" or in other words, energy efficient, must have insulated windows, curly bulbs, and other things. You can be fined thousands of dollars in violation! I don't know how they can enforce that law. I don't know if that ordinance is constitutional, but I would not let them in my home without a search warrant! But Berkeley is a socialist crackpot city.

  • @noreaga12326 Kiss my arse. It's about all you're good for.

  • @nakedmambo arse?? lol.. u defitnitely need to stay in Europe where u belong. you cant even speak proper english. have fun with ur gloomy curly bulbs while most americans here will use great, pleasant lights from incandescents. Go hug on someones tree now.. lib-tard

  • @noreaga12326 Well that caps it off doesn't it? In England the word 'arse' was being used when North America was still an empty field. In England it's: Arse, in German it's: Arsch, in Dutch it's: Arsje. All of these are older than 'Ass" which is a mere shift due to accent or dialect. English originated in England, the clue is in the name.

It's lucky you're not in charge of anything important.

  • @nakedmambo thanks for that little lesson, professor greenie. Thank god ur not in charge of anything important here in the USA either, or we'd all be in trouble.

  • @noreaga12326 You don't need me or to thank any gods for the trouble the U.S. already in, you're doing a great job on your own. This exchange and subject of this thread combine to remind me of an apt phrase: 'dim as a 1-watt bulb.'

  • @nakedmambo "dim as a 1-watt bulb" which by the way, CFLs are dim, give off very little light and they're ugly. why would i wana use ugly lighting in my house..Because a bunch of greenies like u are paranoid about incandescent bulbs dirtying up the earth?next ur gona say that we should ban buses trains and vechicles cuz they "pollute" the air. i guess most ppl should live in China and ride bikes to our destinations now. Please use your brain, thats what its there for. Not every1 is that paranoid

  • @noreaga12326 I quess these greenies like the CFL's because they are dim lights for dim minds!

  • @nakedmambo Don't break your mercury filled light bulb when turning off the light! You would need to call a Hazard waste team to clean it up!

  • @newalm Try not to worry so much about what this moron NAKEDMAMBO is telling u. Keep doing what you're doing and keep on stocking up on good old incandescent bulbs just like i'm doing. We've been using incandescents for over 100 years and now is when these nut job greenies wana control the ppls ways of living. If this idiot wants to use ugly, gloomy light cuz he thinks hes saving the polar bears in the north pole, let him. you can't help but to laugh at morons like him.. lol

  • @noreaga12326 I am still stocking up. I usually purchase twice a month. The incandescent bulbs are getting harder to find though. I buy mine at Orchard Supply. Home Depot does not believe you have a choice and got rid of incandescent bulbs two years ago. I never shop there! You can still purchase on-line too, even though it may be a little more expensive. I hear Lowes still carry the light bulbs, but there is not one close enough to drive to.

  • @noreaga12326 I saw a "Greanpeace" YouTube located in Germany with some green kooks using a roller to crush incandescent light bulbs and they were talking as though the bulbs were nuclear waste! They are NUTS!

  • @newalm yeah i saw that video too. these greenies are a bunch of mental cases who wants the world to be just like them. Thank god, most ppl here in the good old USA are a lot smarter than that. Incandescent bulbs in my opinion give off far more superior light so who gives a sh*t if they're "inefficient". Poor NAKEDMAMBO, looks like his blood pressure is rising since most ppl disagree with his views. Thats a typical liberal for u. I'm up to 800 boxes of incandescents and im still stocking up

  • @noreaga12326 Those curly bulbs do suck! They are so dim! I have been stocking up too but have not been counting. I am sure I have enough to last for years, but want to play it safe and continue stocking up on 100 watt bulbs and 250 watt bulbs that the dinning room takes.

  • @noreaga12326 I guess I may be up to 300 to 400 light bulbs saved up.

  • @noreaga12326 So I was right? You don't like to be told what to do. And because of that you'll continue to waste energy and YOUR money because of a principle? Would you CHOOSE energy efficient and environmentally friendly lighting if they were available?

I have my energy consumption under control and save money every month because of energy efficient lights. Why do I worry about others? Because we ALL affect the environment and the less energy we use the longer our resourses will last.

  • @aakesson1 if energy efficient lights looked A LOT more decent, perhaps i may use it. So far, i havent seen 1 bulb that can replace the good old incandescents. Your thing seems to be energy use and my thing is the looks of these bulbs. I'm not using ugly lighting cuz of u mental case greenies thinking "its good for the environment". we've used incandescents for over 100 years and the world didnt fall apart, Again, worry about the energy YOU use and quit being a little busy body

  • @noreaga12326 No we're not the same... By the way I visited the U.S. Energy Information Administration: The world did'nt fall aparst BUT

"In 2000 and 2001, California suffered an energy crisis characterized by electricity price instability and four major blackouts affecting millions of customers."

    and

"California imports more electricity from other States than any other State."

So why use energy efficient lighting? Maybe because you (USA) NEED TO...

  • @aakesson1 what ppl like u seem to forget is that light bulbs are not the only thing that contribute to electric energy. How about the other appliances we use in our homes? blenders, they have electric stoves now, blow dryers, portable grills, etc etc. cfls probably use less energy but not by much. If ur so concerned about energy consumption in the US, then u should write to obama and ask him why the lights in the white house stay on 24/7. And as u know, the white house uses flourecent lights

  • @aakesson1 You also seem to forget that many ppl dont do the simple task of turning lights off when leaving their room. It doesnt matter if ur using incandescents or cfls. if u leave ur lights when its not needed, you wasting energy. cfls dont even last as long as ur told. They last just about as long as incandescents. so bascially ur spending all that money on expensive bulbs when they dont even last. And again, their light quality looks like sh*t. More negatives to cfls. So i aint using them

  • @noreaga12326 I agree that CFLs often are crap but CFL's will be outdated by 2014 when the possible ban is inplace. I think LED is the possible option. Both light quality and burntime far exceed that of CFL.

    But I understand your point...

  • @aakesson1 its possible that LEDs will be great light source in the future but so far i havent seen any. I guess we'l have to wait and see. one thing about LEDs is that they do save energy. now im hoping that maybe their light quality can be as nice as incandescents

  • @aakesson1 By the way, i like it how u switched your screen name. Why u did it is beyound me ..aka.. NAKEDMAMBO lol

  • @aakesson1 I don't follow the eco sheeple on lame things like light bulbs. It is over kill! People think we are on the verge of Soylent Green or something! Your television and computer eat up more energy then a light bulb. I don't choose over environmentally friendly items, only the best working items. Being a politically correct tree hugger is far from my mind. I am so tired of this "green" crap! I hope it dies like the eco freaks concern over acid rain!

  • @newalm Amen to that. I'm also sick of all this "going green" talk. These environmentalists want everybody else to live being paranoid about everything like they are. When we're talking about a lightbulb ban, that's DEFITNITELY an over reach from the government.

  • @noreaga12326 I can't find any 95 watts or 100 watt bulbs anymore in stores. But fortunately I stocked up pretty well and can still order on-line for the bulbs I need. I am glad you told me about the phase out taking place in 2012. I thought it was 2014. I now found out the phase out for all other incandescent bulbs is 2014 like you told me in a previous post. I am guessing I have enough to last me as a minimum for 15 years, hopefully more!

  • @noreaga12326 I read a Forbes article that those curly bulbs DO NOT save on energy as claimed by the greenies! Not only they do not save on energy, but are poisonous with mercury to boot! I wonder why the greenies don't complain about that! You would think that would freek em out and protest loudly!

  • @newalm i cant help but to laugh at all these moron environmentalist who spend all that money on bulbs that dont even last as long as they claim and who think they're actually saving the environment by using toxic bulbs. All this "going green" thing is for paranoid hippies who are never satisfied with what this country has. Keep stocking up on the incandescents now that they're still around. Hopefully in the near future, somebody smart will run for office

  • Where did you get the "news show" music for the intro?

  • Somebody sunk a lot of money into machines that make those cute little curly-Q glass tubes and they do NOT want to have it wasted. There is ONE problem tho, if the public doesn't like the new bulbs they will have to find a way to FORCE them into compliance. Just buy off some ignorant congressmen/senators and convince them to outlaw the "old" bulbs. Simple.

Oooops we have a problem, people are getting aware of the deception and they are NOT buying it.

  • The sound made at the very end of this video brilliantly mirrors its content.

  • @cartooner2008

YOU should do your research. While there is mercury in these lights and one must follow certain procedures and handle the bulbs with care they do not pose a danger to the inhabitants of the home.

  • @Cookaloka I'm not 100% sure about the mercury in these cfls but if they are harmful to humans then why would we wana buy them?? They say that "you must properly dispose these bulbs when ur done with them" do u really think that most ppl are gona actually drive to recycling centers just to dispose a cfl bulb?? Especially since gas prices are high?? thats a joke! plus, cfls give off shitty light and dont last as long as promised. i dont care how "inefficient" incandescents are, i like good light

  • There is nothing wrong with the incandescent light bulb. They are environmentally safe to dispose of (non-toxic), cheap to produce and give off a good quality spectrum of light. The problem is all the coal that they burn to create the electricity they use. Coal is dirty (whatever conservatives will say), in addition to all the CO2 they produce, they emit toxins including way more mercury than CCFLs into our atmosphere for all to breathe. Incandescent=Coal=Poison , CCFL=less-Coal=less-poison.

  • KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

  • Stop reading so fast. lol loser

  • Oh noes, governments are going to phase out energy guzzling, inefficient, short lifespan incandescent light bulbs for energy saving ones. How terrible that they want to save energy and promote efficient light bulbs.

Or yet another HTWW batshit insane rant.

  • @Cookaloka Listen and also research READ !!!!!!! MERCURY HELLO POISON !!!!! HELLO wow!!!

Sorry but it still amazes me how people can still be blind to what is going on around them just because they dare not to question and are to Lazy to do the research. I have to wonder what these same people will do when they are locked up in a Fema camp being burned or shot to lower the population and are called Terrorists because the believe in Freedom I hope these same ppl realize they are owned by China

  • @AMG7771

While there is mercury in these lights and one must follow certain procedures and handle the bulbs with care they do not pose a danger to the inhabitants of the home. Fema camp? You're really in tinfoil hat territory now. What's next? Evil Overlord Xenu will vaporize the Earth?

  • Both my parents came to America through welfare....

  • Why is this channel the only place willing to tell me the truth about the light bulbs?

I thought they were phasing out the incandescent bulbs because the new bulbs lasted much longer.

Good job destroying the expert. Again.

  • Shut up...Shut up...Shut up...u r an idiot.....

  • I don't believe you are required to use mercury. (Or that it is even going to happen; I mean it is a government). Also, I looked this up on Wikipedia (do you trust this or prefer others?) and saw

"Although the USA is not phasing out incandescent light bulbs, it has set minimum efficiency standards for lighting which preclude most legacy incandescent designs; these minimum standards phase in between 2012 and 2014"

  • I don't think welfare is quite like that. More like rich pay more (cause past 200k a year, who really needs that). I don't believe he apologized to Saudi rulers. I believe he apologized to European Rulers (Just going on what you said. I don't know what you are talking about). I think you are misleading your viewers from European countries with better social programs to countries that whip women.

I think higher taxes are good. We need to pay back that 1 trillion somehow, right?

  • @anymouse1234 1 question Did they ask you if it was ok to use you as Collateral to borrow that money

  • One thing that Lee and a lot of other people missed is that the fact that now that the governess has eliminated the chief competitor of cfls the prices are going to go up because of lack of competition

  • i live in canada. cfl's just don't work in minus 40 celcius.

  • Is it just me, or is everyone of his sentences cut and over edited? If you look at the background you will see the light change. What this shows is someone who cannot for a succinct thought and has to use over editing to make a cognitive though

  • I like your scare tactic here, telling people that there is something to fear from the Government banning outdated technology and replacing it with a more efficient substitute. I am honestly surprised that you believe that Mercury is harmful to the human body, given your stances on non-debatable issues such as the effect of the overwhelming amount of carbon in the carbon cycle. How long did it take you to actually get to your subject after defending or apologizing for your previous errors?

  • @xChrisBoulterx first it's outdated technology, next maybe it's unhealthy food...

  • @xChrisBoulterx, the issue is not whether the technology is outdated or whether the alternative is better. There are alot of legitimate uses for incandecents that other technologies can't replace. And there are some legitimate concerns with flourecents and other technologies. But even if neither was the case, the absurdity of banning lightbulbs should be enough to make anyone angry. Why does some arbitrary group of people get to threaten us on how we are allowed to use our own property?

  • @xChrisBoulterx incandescents give off nicer and more natural light. So who gives a shit if the technology is outdated or inefficient. All you moron liberals are a bunch of nosey bizzy bodies, telling ppl how to live their lives. I'm not gona use gloomy, pissed colored lights just because you're a moron and think that it will "stop global warming" or "save the environment". Most ppl are not that stupid.

  • @noreaga12326 I just want to make a quick point that light bulbs aren't about liberal vs conservative (congress, either; they're all dicks). Tightwads almost always use CFLs; I currently live in libland Seattle& most people here HATE them... maybe it's because we are desperately seeking sun so we use chromalux/reveal (their halogens, ironically, use the same wattage as as powerful CFLs & are brighter AND the neodymium coating makes things crystal clear, unlike regular yellowing incandescents)..

  • @122172639 i've been wondering if we were to get all these moron greenies outa office, that maybe we can eventually get this bulb ban repealed. The post below has a great point. Government knows that most ppl hate products so it wants to force ppl to use them. millions of ppl have stocked up on bulbs so im sure that even after 2014, most of the house holds in America will still use light bulbs. So maybe if we elect smarter ppl in the future, we can get our freedom back here in the US.

  • @noreaga12326 I agree with you. This "green" scam has gone too far! I live near Fremont California and that solar plant closed down that Obama touted as "The future" cost the tax payer over half a billion dollars! the funny thing to, using the old style light bulbs do not contribute to global warming at all! In some parts of the states it is hydro-electric power that creates electricity.

  • Keep crying, baby! We know you're a corporate pawn!

  • Dude I'm with you I got heat for letting ads play on my vids too. Why do people think if you make money you can no longer be trusted. Doesn't it just make sense to make money doing just what you are already doing for free...

  • you need to think a little paranoid bitch

  • nothing to apologize for? How about a false war in the middle east searching for WMD's that didn't exist and for which there was no evidence. A war that destabilized the region and guaranteed the USA 2 new enemies for at LEAST the next generation. Hamas already own Palestine. Once the Taliban regain power in Afghanistan, and Iraq returns to dictatorial power, Israel will be destroyed and America will have new nuclear ready enemies.

  • @DieFatorLiveThin lol wow there is so much wrong with the first and last part of that paragraph. "there was no evidence" lol

  • @thEannoyingE yeah, there was no evidence. you can't have positive evidence for something that wasn't there. There were no WMD's in Iraq, therefore there was no positive evidence. Its a tautology. Deal with it.

  • Gordon Brown gave Obama some chocolates as a gift. The Chololates were binned/incinerated by his staff, as food is not allowed, for fear of poisoning, which is just as ridicules.

  • .... this guy has the brain of a chipmunk....

  • i will sit in the dark b4 i buy shitty ass CFLs. you morons who agree with the ban are too brain washed to see that these "greenies" wana force u to use these toxic bulbs cuz they know that most people like me still prefer incandescents. They're also doing it to make money. i have hundreds of boxes of incandescents and i will continue to stock up until the ban takes into effect. Fuck all u moronic greenies. u aint telling me how to light my house.

  • HEY, ASSCLOWN WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT "ONLY TINY AMOUNTS" ARGUMENT YOU MADE IN THE CRITIQUE OF THE STORY OF COSMETICS?

  • Talking about your background alows others to judge how well you know what you are talking about (like how Tunderf00t talks about his physics background i know that he is much better at physics than idono lets say Nephilimfree

    Number one

He hasn't ever called anyone a bragger

    Number two

There arn't any people on your side with real creditails so it dosn't matter you are just a "Know nothing

  • Go Leon Go!!! You Rock

  • lol you kinda look like McLovin

  • You are so full of crap.

  • Lol at 5:22 he is arguing about Barac Obama, and then next to the video is an advertisement about him... so HowTheWorldWorks all your videos are umm useless becuase no one else cares what you say look in the comments!

  • This video isn't really about incandescent light bulbs, is it?

  • how would DVD's not work in England? I've been to Thailand where it's far more foreign, yet all American CD's and DVD's work just fine there... So by what reason would stop American DVD's from playing in England????

  • Finally... the lightbulbs.

The use of incandescent lightbulbs releases twice as much mercury into the atmosphere as fluorescent.

Way to go HTWW. You just showed how dumb you are... by not doing any research at all.

  • @MoonKittenJD Dude... Do you not understand the way that they are doing it is completely ridiculous?

  • @criox12 understand what who is doing?

  • @MoonKittenJD Government with lightbulbs. What HTWW said in the video... Making us pay $2000 to clean up a freakin' broken lightbulb. I think that is ridiculous.

  • @criox12 Well first, he doesn't even cite a source about the $2000. His source says nothing about the cleanup cost. note that he says "special company". There is a very good reason not to cite a source: to support a biased viewpoint. HTWW has a reputation for having a biased viewpoint.

Back to the cleanup cost. I haven't heard of it costing 2k to clean. That sounds like BS and i have no idea why you believed it... And you should also think of how many lightbulbs you've broken in your life.

  • @criox12 I personally don't know anybody who has actually shattered a lightbulb. So even if it is expensive, it won't affect many people.

And there is another huge lie in this video, tax cuts. I know for a fact we received tax relief. idc if HTWW is right/left winged or biased, but he better not lie about things just to support his cause, that is unethical.

  • @MoonKittenJD incandescents do not have any mercury in them. CFLs do. Do some research b4 u make urself sound like a moron

  • @noreaga12326 Watch the video: Mercury Pollution from Compact Fluorescent vs Incandescent Light Bulbs. Its by cdk007

basically.... do some research before you make yourself sound like a moron and also think about indirect effects of actions.

  • @MoonKittenJD if you agree with the ban, then you've been brain washed. GREENIES want u to buy CFLs so that they can make money. Instead of ENCOURAGING, do u know why government is FORCING us to use cfls?? Cuz they know that most ppl still prefer the light quality of incandscents. So they feel threatned. Incandescents have been around for over 100 years, so why are they crying about it now?? On top of that CFLs don't work in most fixtures and they take long to get bright. Do some research

  • @noreaga12326 thats right ive been BRAINWASHED into thinking that burning huge amounts of coal releases tons of the mercury in said coal into the atmosphere.

  • Lol... "Don't tell you're children they're gona have to pay for this"

Do you know who the government owes its debt to?!?

Most of it is owed TO US CITIZENS!!!

Get an education, i learned this stuff in my first semester of college.

    "pay more taxes"

Wah wah. The taxes here in our country are small compared to most other countries.

  • If you don't explain your credentials.... usually that means

    YOU DON'T HAVE ANY

You had the glove spinning the correct way at first!!! wth is up with that...

OMFG... i came here because your video was entitled lightbulb ban... im at 4:18 and you haven't even peeped about lightbulbs.

  • You've been pwnd by TAA before, And noone likes you.

  • wtf? u dont get 2 teh point

    until 6:35?

    U FAIL

    and flagged 4 missleading stupidity

  • As a post-grad science student: your ignorance astounds me.

  • OMFG - GET TO THE FUCKING POINT
