I live in Bridgeport. The suprise is what you see when you go to Bridgeport and find out that they are misrepresenting. I do not feel unsafe (then again, I live in the "suburbs" if you will) but its not all glitz and glamor. I think it is unethical to spend taxpayer dollars, if that is what funded this, to paint a picture of Bridgeport that is just not correct. Why not focus on the local culture (Carribean, African-American, Latino, etc.)? It is a diverse city...

Looking at this video makes you think Bridgeport is mostly caucasian. Less than half the population is white with the remainder black, histpanic or latino.

I work in the downtown area and I've been to many of the places featured in the commercial - to see it all put together this way is a great reminder of not only the improvements that have been made in the past 5 years, but also of the many things that there are to do in this area.

Let's write our history so our children will be proud to say they're from Bridgeport.
