cool. UK. we have grades. 1st 2nd 3rd and so on. 1st grade is normally six year olds and 2nd is seven year old and so on. I'm in the 7th grade and 13. and no I didn't fail a grade. here if your b-day is after september 1 you can't start until the year after that. that's what happent to me.
I started last week. We normally start on august 6th but I take online courses and the classroom was full so I had to wait. I didn't start until that november. so I had to work through the summer. I didn't start until after laborday. :)
