@ianhitman if he was 28 in 1984...he was playing 25,000-50,000 seat venues when he was 30 on the Skyscraper tour(1986.thats a stadium) then again he was playing stadiums when he was 23 on the VH II tour.
bosoxyaz...... You have misinterpreted dave comment about Jagger. What he is saying is, if the interviewer had asked Mick the same question "how long will you be doing this" today (meaning 1984) Micks answer would have been different. Because, at the time the original question was asked (the 60's) Mick had never played a stadium. By 1984 Mick and Dave had BOTH played stadiums and both realize it's the greatest thing in the world and would want to do it for the rest of there lives.
mindblowing footage. im always hanging from roths nuts but here i got a bone 2 pick...... ego is seeping in deep here very very early 1984 in this roth interview him talking down sorta but really about mick jaggar in 1984 pisses me off. first off mick still plays stadiums AND WILL @ 70 YEARS OLD !!!!!!!!!!
y'know...there's a lot of overlap between the answers he gives in various different interviews...he's good but he ain't as good as he appears - he thinks up a lotta this stuff beforehand...
Sure roth repeats himself. A pro never forgets his good lines.

Roth predicts the future of todays music to a "T". Haircuts and shoes! I love it and have done drum covers on my channel to some of my fave VH hits
