@Powerking89670 Uhh, you obviously didn't read the description or watch the video all the way through. This was the result of a bug. If it were a mod it'd have to be a little more involved than that. Can you show me a video of anyone renaming one file and ending up with terrain in a space zone?

Lets not deceive people here OP. This was filmed in SWG EMU during early testing. At that time players had access to GM commands including flight, movement, and character sizing. Your video is from the early EMU days, hence there are NO NPCs or animals around. Good try.

@StarTrekOnlineUSA Actually, it wasn't, and I'm not trying to deceive anything into anything here. This was the result of a completely random bug in the live game. It was not intended and I've never been able to reproduce it. Besides, to my knowledge there's not been any space implementation in the Emu whatsoever :-p.

YOu should be able to Fly you're ship in Atmosphere! Why not? Just another thing to add SWG of things that you should be able to do! You should also be able to land you're ship where -ever you want to, like out in Tatooine's Desert!

Problem with atmospheric flight and landing everywhere is, think if everyone did it at once!

Would be ships everywhere, the worst lag and spam everywhere.

Sounds awsome, but would be complicated for SOE to make a good system

Yeah, you're right......But they should do/allow this: If you own a home on the planet, you should be allowed to land next to you're property. But, unlike that damn landing Beacon that you put at you're house, you're ship would actually, PHYSICALLY be there ( as in you would see it there, and you couldn't walk through it). Also you would be able to enter you're ship, and if it's a single passenger ship, there would be a short animated clip of you're character entering the ship, and the ship lifting off into the sky, at which point the Loading screen would pop up. If it's a multi-passenger ship, then like on KOTOR (Ebon Hawk), you would walk up the boarding ramp, game loads, then you are inside the ship, free to roam around while you're ship is landed. You would be able to work on the ship (components), and take off into space only by being in the ship. I have alot of other "Ideas" too, but not enough "Characters" to type on youtube.

They are adding Hoth with mountable AT-AT's. Check the forums and download the demo. The game has improved greatly in the last year compared to the beginning years of the NGE.
