I adore this game. I wish I could create a fun game. But alas, 1 year of programming and i still can only work in the console. I wish i could put a sprite on a screen or something. :C

I do wonder though, how does one go about getting graphics for their amature game, like the interface and what not. Did you create all of that yourself as well?

@saturn226 outsourcing- I work quite a few texture and gui design teams that work word of mouth so to speak. just make some friends. give them incentive and see what happens :D

@saturn226 Yea, plenty of tutorials out there man. What language you use? Making games is one of those things where it can be REALLY HARD or REALLY EASY. and you cant just jump in headfirst, unprepared! Know what you wanna do, how your going to do it. Make all the concept arts and ideas beforehand, and then jump in headfirst ;D If you ever need any help just PM me and Ill see what i can do!

I have a question, is the game completely the same as in the video posted? What I mean is it all the same, are there any other things that can be done except console mimicking? The thing is I'm a senior college student majoring in Computer Science and this game caught my attention today and saw it on sale on steam. For what I could see in the video most of what was being done was cli coding. I know its not completely accurate in many things but the concept is correct.

the game was only 2MB so i downloaded it easily and i enjoy it.

its somewhat like using a CMD MS DOS i think.. old style of hacking.
