  • thumbs up if you fansie Tallulah thumbs down if you dont

  • This is the reason I've always been fond of Jodie Foster... :)

  • love this song soooooo much

  • My name is tallulah, i am a sexy child! lol ;)

  • If they ever remake this film, I will cry.

  • ALL THE CHILDREN ARE PLAYING ADULTS? its a bitta fun

  • I LOVE TALLULAH!!!!!!!

  • shes miming. any idiot can see that.

  • @girlygirlyblonde Please tell me you're joking. Everybody's singing voice was mimed by an adult. Did you not think that the boys' singing voices were a bit deep for their age?

  • @fantaXDaddict Maybe you should read a comment before you respond to it.

  • Only in America would you get a group of young children being forced to act like a group of low down dirty whores.

Well done America, another great job. We salute you.

  • @stoy1000 obviously you've missed the entire point of this film but hey, its o.k we can all be tards.

  • @MrPhilb0b Listen you dirty pedo, you just keep forcing children to act like prostitutes. Its what you like so you go for it, you dirty old bastardo

  • @stoy1000 Bugsy Malone is a 1976 British musical film lmao selfownd such a bad troll

  • @DadSoFly Ha ha, you are correct. I owned myself. ha ha ha

  • She's the star of the show in a speakeasy? some people read into shit to deep, how could america even suggest a 13yr girl play a prostitute? c'mon?

  • As Children acting in films,Busgy Malone has some of the greatest child acting ever brought to the screen.

The fact that these Kids are acting Adult is why the film works.

Of course you can STILL SEE the childhood innocence still there.

IF you could not see this childhood innocence, this film just would not work.

It just would be too disturbing.

The music is it's real saving grace.

The feel of 1920's/30's music expression is incredible.

Not just by the way it sounds but also recorded.

  • her hair is horrible

  • I found this movie totally disturbing. I was born in '57 in the USA. This completely confused me.

  • She is NOT a prostitute. She's Fat Sam's girlfriend. She might be a bit loose, but she's not for sale (except in exchange for the lifestyle Fat Sam gives her).

  • And then....

    A wild Buffalo Bill appears!

  • Dang, the first line of this song is so darn catchy!

  • Is this the little girl playing Tallulah singing or a grown woman?

  • @Kowalsk1fan

No, all the songs sung have been sung by grown adults, the kids are just miming :)

  • my school play i got the part of lena morelli ... talulahs voice high lenas too good vid tho

  • saw this for the first time the other day and i cant stop listening and i love this film

  • @ThatWellDressedGuy Well, she plays a woman companion of a gangster.

  • Jack Swain

  • i used to fancie bugsy :L!

  • Just realized Jodie Foster was in Taxi Driver that same year....typecast as a prostitute by 16, geez

  • why have they given spotlight to a trombone during a trumpet solo?

  • I always remember that name...Tallulah. HAHAHA!

  • Hannibal Lecter killed and ate all those people to impress Jodi Foster...

  • how old was she wen she was playing tallulah???

  • @ILoveDraco8133 i guess 12 yrs old..

  • I still have this on VHS...

  • ..Despite the Oscars, all the iconic roles to come, this moment in Bugsy remains for me Jodie Fosters greatest moment..Brilliant..

  • Ah I remember watching the older year do this or there school play!

  • I play Tillie :)

  • Wait I can't tell, is it in black and white?

  • ha i didnt even realise she was playing prozzie til now just clicked! I was her years ago in my school play opps!

  • I'm Bangles :D

  • my name IS tallulah

  • if you are offended that Foster plays a prostitute in this film then whatever you do don't watch taxi driver

  • @MrCart25 she is not a prostitute

  • I'm playing Tallulah in a play, heehee ;)

  • i love the way she turns at the end, its like she realises she is going off at the wrong end of the stage, lol!

  • igot the part of Bangles (:

istill liked the part though even if i wasnt Tallulah(:

  • We did this in year 6, i awas 2nd choice for tallulah, if only i was more confident :/ :(

It was really fun doing this, i would reccommend it to schools!

  • we r doing this i nschool play... m ybff wants to be her :P

  • my name is tallulah my first rule of fun!

  • @yagb13

    thumb*

  • @alexeiyify sorry i was told it was fun sorry

  • one of my fav songs from the film

  • I never liked Tallulah... untill one of my best friends got put as tallulah in our school play...

  • I was a bid surprised by all the comments of people who were offended by the fact that a young teenager Jodie Foster plays a prostitute in a, by the way, really good movie. But everybody has ofcourse his own sensitivity which should be respected. I wonder though if these people were also offended by the fact that other young teenager actors were allowed to play gangsters and murderers in this film. I doubt it. Sexuality is taboo and violence is accepted without too much thought.

  • @mariluni2002 She DOESN'T play a prostitute. She plays a moll.

  • I get inlove of Tallulah when I was 18 and see this movie

  • I get inlove of Tallulah when I was 18 and see this movie

  • I so preferred tallulah to blousey

  • I remember this what a time!

  • My name IS Tallulah

  • fear is all people understand, so what are they driven by in paradise but feare/

  • jodie foster?! ftw

  • this is way worse then Justin Bieber

  • @movieman7000 So ur saying Justin Bieber sounds like a girl? And Jodie FTW :)

  • Geeze i loved this movie as a kid and at the same time had no idea what a prostitute was or even what the lyrics in the song actually meant.

The innocence of a child I guess lol

  • @MundyArtStudio same

  • @MundyArtStudio So in this movie she's a prostitute ?!?!!?

  • @MundyArtStudio she is not a prostitute

  • luv it my friend mailie waz tallulah

  • Comment removed

  • @SirManBat no silly in my school play happy times and very sad :( oh well i suppose im over it now ;)

  • At six, I aimed to be `just like Tallulah` when I was older. Looking back, that's one dream I'm kind of glad never turned out right :/

  • tulullah scares me, i don't know why

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid. I'm am strangely uncomfortable with it now.

  • MY name is Tallulah, and I gotta say, some of theese comments offend me, even though i know they're not talking about me :L

  • Cannot believe this is Jodie Foster

  • @MrsGreenDay123 i know

  • this is one of my favorite song.

  • I love these songs especially this one haha XD and I love the film I had a crush on the one who played Bugsy Malone :$ lol haha looking at him now on other vids I still do

  • ad bang jodie foster

  • She makes me want to kill the president too.

  • No need to fell bad about watching this. Granted back when this was made, it was not looked upon badly, just like back then you could mix boys and girls, take pictures and videos of your kids and leave your front door open. The dancing in this song is far more reserved that say a 12 year old on a dance competition program with hardly anything on re-enacting Bey once. A fantastic film and a great song. Good name making performance by Jodie.

  • i corrupt the young, a false prophet, i corrupt the compable. and the jews die. corrupt with thine own hand. No not one jot.

  • @duncangray2011 must be talking about moses i guess

  • Now, if this is giving you a stiffie, then it's a different matter. Me, I love the song. Does anyone know if SHE did the singing?

  • @TotalDesignZ nope, look at the documentary on the suggested videos

  • @TotalDesignZ She did sing this originally, but they re dubbed her voice with one higher pitched, they did so to all the actors.

  • @MissBloodyDagger Thanks

  • @TotalDesignZ no problem ^_^

  • @TotalDesignZ Liberty Williams apperntly sang the song and Jodie Foster only lip synced it like all the kids in the movie they all had an adult sing for them and they all just lipsynced the words to try appear to be more like adults. I don't think Jodies does or even can sing, i've seen many of her films and she's never sang once.

  • @cebucemagenaitap Thanks. I'm always curious as to who does the singing in movies. You know, if it's the actual actors or not.

  • @TotalDesignZ np man I don't know why since but since I was little i've never gotten tired of these song or this movie.

  • @cebucemagenaitap Because it was a cool movie/concept and the music is great :)

  • @TotalDesignZ yep it's most certainly is also it's classic too!

  • That was a cool movie. I was pretty young too and thought she was really cool. If anyone feels like a pervert for no reason, it's 'cause the american society is fucked. You're supposed to feel like a perv just because something is pretty or whatever but they're young. Appreciating something or someone despite them being young doesn't have to be dirty so fuck all that try to make others feel bad for no reason..continued above

  • i love this song

  • i want the abloishment of woman kind. from the face of the earth, in disgrace what an act.

  • and made her a garden, muhamoud. then men where alone.

  • @TheRedSphinx same thing came into my head ! like whats special about north carolina /

  • IN BABYLON WHORES RIDE CHARRIOTS AND NO harrolt gives a call. THE SIGNIFACT OTHER. devowered there on the street, and hung till i dry. pure entitys, thats my call.

  • deliah knows the fire which set thee america. and the reformation, with the bewithchment of france.

  • its not in the old west, they said, linger too longer.

  • yeah, but it's Jodie Foster...

  • she gets shot at hold 5

  • Comment removed

  • @Squamber i am too im a dancer

  • You can't even watch ANYTHING on YouTube anymore without a FUCKING POP-UP ADVERTISEMENT! The streaming isn't even as smooth anymore.

  • Watch this toddaaayy at school because we are doing stuff to do with 1920's

and teacher showed the 8th grade this movie, got this song in my head!!!!!

  • Why hello there Clarice xD

  • @Squamber so am i

  • im doing it for my leavers play its awesome :-)

  • my name is sophie

  • @TheMindControlers same here

  • omg this song annoys me i heared it at school we have a fricken play bout it grrr

  • great song

  • kl im doing that in my play kl i like it :]

  • kl im doing that in my play kl i like it :]

  • My name is tallulah

  • i find it really creepy watching 13 year olds bein gangsters and even weirder watchin em being showgirls 0_o

  • This is before Robert DeNiro comes in and shoots them all.

  • Mint film iloveee it<3

  • ...strange..back then, young girls didn't develope breasts, even though they developed everything else, it seems. Eleven year-olds walk about with big breasts, or at least budding breasts, and I can't help but wonder if it's the hormones in the food. Why am I contemplating this while watching this song? D8

  • a 12 year old (if she's even that old) playing a tart (can't think of a better word) is kind of disturbing.

  • @elenore88 Tart is good. xD

i thought it was awesome, still. c:

  • @elenore88 She was 14.

  • @SirManBat ok, well that explains it a little more. but she looks 12. (and it's still disturbing)

  • @elenore88

Jodie Foster was 14 in 1976 and already a very experienced professional actress, having worked in movies and television since she was an infant. She played a prostitute in Taxi Driver in the same year that this movie was released.

She was aware of the difference between acting and real life.

  • @graybeard222 'she was aware of the difference between acting and real life.'

    and that proves..............

she played a tart and as a girl who looks about 12, that is disturbing. unless you find child prostitution an acceptable way for someone to make a living.

  • We're also doing Bugsy Malone for our school production xx

  • @pinkmeercatpink yo u from earlham?

  • @Bigbangrocks100 nahhh london, no idea where earlham is

  • weve done this production last year.

  • We're doing Bugsy Malone for our school production this year... :')

  • As a fully grown man watching this I must admit I feel a little uncomfortable. Its nothing to do with the young age of the performers, its just that this rubber gimp suit I'm wearing is really hot and I'm dying for a piss.

  • @BaronVonPenguin AHAHA!

  • @BaronVonPenguin um weird...

  • @BaronVonPenguin This comment just made my top 3

  • @BaronVonPenguin WINNING

  • OMG favourite movie of all time
