I remember when Reggie said that. Realistic thats almost impossible to do over a 82 game season. but i do understand Reggies point. People praise his defense but he actually is a very poor one on one defender. He is an excellant help side defender though. Offensivly Tyrus needs to improve his ball handling. Once he can do that he'll be able to create offensive oppurtunities for himslef more consistanltly.

Tyrus Thomas needs to acquire that mid-range jumper and become a difference maker on the offensive end. He already is a difference maker on the defensive end but he has to keep most of them block shots' inbound. Last thing is his decision making, it's imperative he improve that aspect. It seems like every time he drives, the opponent makes him go in one direction and once he lifts up, it's either a slam or a turnover. No doubt, the dude isn't far away from being Derrick Rose's second-hand-man.

its a shame because Tyrus has so much athletic talent that you can' t teach but he does not know how to harness it. He also has no true postion in the NBA which is the problem with alot of talent these days. He can't play the 3 because he doesn't have the ball handling ablity to create any kinda shot for himself but struggles to play the 4 because he isn't strong enough to compete night n night out with NBA big man. To me, Tyrus is better at 4 cuz of his athleticsm and shot blocking.

I wouldn't question Tyrus work ethic. He actually works very hard and has put in more than the required practice time with the Bulls both in the off season and regular season. But your right bout his mindset. Sometimes he will lose focus on the court and almost seem lost. To me that is a sign of a guy who doesn't fully understand what he brings to his team. Meaning he is still struggling to find his role with the bulls.

i think it's good that ben is gone. he wasn't very good at dribbling, he gave up a lot of turnovers. he took really random wild shots at times. he's great when the clock is almost out though. but taking wild shots when there's still a lot of time in the game didn't make sense. he's really good though don't get me wrong. good luck to him on icky detroit. :)
