  • HI Harry. I have a song recorded into garageband though I may do it again in logic pro. does natives drummer work in logic? and does it work with a digital keyboard? meaning i hit key on keyboard and it does the drum sound. Trying to figured out how I would add drums to my song?

  • you can also import drum midis and make your own loops using studio drummer samples, can't you?

  • how do you get rid of the rolls on the snare?

  • @WordGeniuzTube You mean when you hit the snare you get rolls? well thats a mapping problem, there is a mapping option on one on the tabs, it will be set to "default" to begin with.

  • @Harrysound thanks!

  • How can u export the drum loops from studio drummer? I can't figure out how to do it

  • Studio drummer was a BIG dissapointment. It was a nightmare, can't compare to any other drum program on the market :o(

  • @Gubbfinger what do you mean it was a disappointment? what is better on the market?

  • @myfacevids Man just look at the sound. It's horrible.

  • Wow, realistic sound, the kick sounds very great and deep.

  • Does NI Studio Drummer work as a VST for Ableton Live?

  • @xXSythenXx Should work within anything that support VST.....but check the requirements.

    I'm sure it would.

  • @xXSythenXx yes it does

  • Does studio drummer has ready sampled snare drum rolls? like you press a key and there's the roll or do you have to do it manually?

  • @Likui Yep, it has rolls and flam

  • @Harrysound thanks

I guess I'll get it then

  • I just purchased Komplete 8 (regular) and I couldn't be happier, all the extras in ultimate are nice, but just weren't a must for me. As a Pro Tools user, all the processing plug-ins, compressors and such, are superior IMO. Studio Drummer is really amazing, I don't see how you could get any better between this and the included Abbey Road's 60's drums. It's an AMAZING product and value!

  • @nodnarb3187 Agree dude.

I still think Studio Drummer is flawed. I have found how to get my own loops in the browser though which is a good step , but why no import button ?

I wish there was an option to change the imprted midi loops map so it plays correct within studio drummer.

I'll still use Steven Slate but this is handy! :)

  • not that good.

  • @RoboticusMusic What isn't?

  • @Harrysound studio drummer. I like BFD better.

  • @RoboticusMusic Well I think it's a pretty cool tool to have at your disposal , Only time will tell if I can actually make use of it though.

I'll still probably stick with Steven Slate Drums when doing final mixes

  • @Harrysound Would you say the extra things ultimate comes with are truly worth it or more of extra things for fun rather than common use?

  • @RoboticusMusic Well for me it's worth it. In the future the whole solid mix/ and vintage compressors could prove very useful. For me it's all about having everything so I can create anything whenever I want. If you just want to stick to a certain style of things then you can pick and choose your programs at will.

  • How do you screen capture video and sound at once?

  • @RoboticusMusic Debut capture software records both sound from a source in this case Rig Control going into the line in on my Creative soundcard and video which in this case was the Cubase 5 window.
