  • I classify music by feel & this makes me feel gooooooood.

  • man this tune, i just paid £346 for it on vinyl (NEVER USED)

money WELL SPENT aka YOU'RE FUCKING CRAZY!!!!!

at the end of the day i would pay £2,000 for this tune, It's that good!

  • this is dubstep because rustie is a substantial part of the dubstep scene. dubstep isn't a sound, it's a community. fuck your bpms and your twitches and shit, you can't define a scene by its sounds.

  • I miss the old rustie.... :(

  • you can tell when dubstep is dubstep....it doesn't necessarily need to be 140bpm dubstep artists have already confessed to making dubstep at 70 bpm.....so this bpm talk is non sense. you can still get the same effect if you space the drums and high hats out.

  • @viciousDUBSTEP

70bpm is 140 in half time... there's no fucking difference.

  • @urmumsbaps so my point still stands and the dubstep come out sounding different. its more melodic at 70bpm. 140 bpm is more hype. so yea 70 is 140s half time (simple fucking math) but at the same time it effects other sounds in the track.

  • @viciousDUBSTEP

melody has absolutely nothing to do with BPM and where the fuck you got that idea from i have no idea. a quarter beat at 70 is a half beat at 140, BPM is a rough guide not a rigid format. you can make the exact same song at 140 and 70 respectively and they will sound exactly the same.

  • @urmumsbaps im saying it sounds more MELODIC. a track made at 70 bpm sounds distinctively different from a track made at 140 bpm. Blackmills does his tracks mostly at 70 and it literally makes it sound like progressive dubstep. Datsik and others from rottun usually make their shit at 140 bpm and you can distinctively hear the difference in the speed. so, FUCK YOU lol

  • @viciousDUBSTEP

This is like talking to a 6 year old. What exactly do you think melodic means? The difference in those 2 styles has nothing to do with the BPM and everything to do with the producer. If you make a 4/4 drum beat at 70 BPM, then make the same drum beat in half time in 4/4 at 140 BPM there will literally be no difference. How the rest sounds is up to the producer no the BPM. Please read up on some music theory before you try and debate it.

  • @urmumsbaps damn son, you are stubborn.

  • @viciousDUBSTEP

I'm being stubborn because I'm right. It's not a matter of opinion we're talking about here.

  • @viciousDUBSTEP he's right though

  • @F34Rvd0pe i get what he's saying but what i was saying is that there is a difference in other sounds when the speed is different not the drums but other sounds...or atleast on fl studio, i haven't messed around with any other program lol

  • @urmumsbaps you are ARGUING about CLASSIFICATION of an ART FORM for f*ck sakes.

  • @UrbanCrunkMovement Glad someone is sensible. Such a killer track.

  • @UrbanCrunkMovement

Are you responding to me directly? I was arguing about musical terms like melody and BPM, classification didn't come into it.

  • @urmumsbaps No I was somewhat agreeing with your sentiment, viciousdubstep is a brostep nerd. BPM is a factual element of every song ever made. Pigeon-holing songs into genres by BPM and then arguing about some other bozo's incorrect classification of the same song is retarded. You can't calculate the genre of a song using a stop watch, I'm sorry you just can't. You math geeks need to leave the music making to the artists. Worry less about genre and enjoy the songs.

  • @UrbanCrunkMovement

Totally, that's essentially what I was trying to tell the guy. Not sure where math geeks come into it though.

  • its faster than 140bpm thats for sure, all his tunes are its around 150, that makes it unique

  • u drop the Bass?

    -AYE

  • What's the point of putting music in genres? Just enjoy it

  • This is dope.

  • It sounds good, and doesn't WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUB WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUBWUB throughout. I don't care what it's called. Fucking genre whores.

  • whatup peeps...got an unreleased Rustie joint up on my page if yall wanna check it out. Shits ILL man.....

  • Future Garage.

  • You are all wrong. This new UK Garage. Yes. I went there.

  • Killer track!

  • why justin bieber is so famous?

  • i wanna hear some heavy cop sirens on this one wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @DUBLDL And make it sound like every other cliched Dubstep track out there? I don't think so, thanks.

  • I am loving this, really original. Dont have a clue what genre this is and I could not care. This is the sort of track that should be in the background of some action movie, makes me want to drop kick some midgets.

  • ITS CALLED AQUACRUNK KIDS! DIG IT!

  • might be dubstep, but dont characterize all his shit

he mad different cause if he wasnt we wouldnt have this problem in telling what this music is in the first place

  • This guy is insane live, seen him in Subclub the other night.

P.s it's not dubstep, but lets not argue over it and just embrace the music, bitches.

  • Who gives a fuck if its dubstep. Whate are you not gona like it if its another genre ignorant wankers. Music is music and if its good then its good

  • Aquacrunk, Dubstep... who the fuck cares.. it's good chunes

  • makes me wanna murder people

    ...in a good way

  • I don't know if this is dubstep but its a nice instrumental for a grime track

    Big Up!

  • anyone that thinks this is dubstep is an idiot, nuff said

  • @ctuplex2 then tell me your definition of dubstep?

  • @arforcee why? rustie isnt dubstep

  • Comment removed

  • @arforcee uhhhh... you would want to know someone elses definition of dubstep wouldnt you. that just further proves ctuplex2's point. im pretty sure the only thing we know for sure is that this tune is sick, and whoever feels the need to label it with some trendy tag, well thats great im happy for them

  • @arforcee It has no wobbling bass. Almost all dubstep has oscillation between two LFOs. This doesn't really need a label to be amazing, though.

  • @thespandexman yes I realize that and I also don't care what genre this is, but I do believe this is (early) dubstep and because it hasn't got a wobble doesn't mean it's not dubstep. But I do agree that you don't NEED to label this song, I just don't agree when people say this isn't dubstep, that's all :)

  • @arforcee this is not an early "dubstep" rusties been producing for a while

  • @arforcee I'm glad some people on youtube can be agreeable :D

  • @thespandexman hehe:p but the thing is, I don't care if it's dubstep or it isn't. It's about the music, but that doesn't mean that I CAN'T call it dubstep? Because I believe it is. dubstep has many many faces you know

  • @arforcee Well, you win :P I really have no place telling you not to label it xD

  • @arforcee what you on about. its dubstep.

  • @arforcee it's purple.

  • @LambskankDubstep true true... mixed with a little green

  • @thespandexman dubstep aint all bout wobble man get outta here some of the best dubstep aint got nothing to do with wobble and i say this as a producer and an avid dubstep listener

  • @thespandexman You have no idea what you are talking about. Look at Digital Mystikz. They are like the most universally considered to be dubstep producers there are and so many of their tracks have no "wobbling bass".

  • @JamieBarnes11 I have the DMZ discog on vinyl (and some on FLAC), so chillax with the "having no idea" business. You're going back pretty far just to tell me off for something I typed baked.

  • @thespandexman It's at the top of the page I'm not going back far

  • @JamieBarnes11 7 months old... no thumbs up... I call shenanigans.

  • @JamieBarnes11 Oh wait, uploader comments. I lol'd

  • @ctuplex2 u need to open ur eyes and ears and be more versatile dubstep takes many forms and a true dubstep master should realise this so another words u no nothing of the great dub life!

  • @adamzzzkiify just because a song has a common snare/clap on every 3rd beat doesn't mean its dubstep, rustie doesn't even list his stuff as dubstep

  • @ctuplex2 featured on mary anne hobbs so i dont know about that..

  • @ctuplex2

what makes u judge and jury?

  • @REDEYES771 the song its obvious

  • @ctuplex2

Its still got the dubstep beat - if this was played in a set it would be a nice little break from the heavy wobbles most people expect. Just because its not a typical sound doesnt make it special, shit, or different. genres can be fused without having to create sub genres or even new ones - look at old school hardcore as an example, or even house

  • @REDEYES771 yea, you can put it in a set but just because you can put something in a set doesnt mean its that genre, it is pretty similar but i see what hes saying, rustie himself isnt that much of a dubstep guy, his EP seems like hes found his own style.

  • Fuck yeah Scotland - you beasts!

  • big

  • Sick intro sick tune

    smoke 1

  • He is definitely going places.

  • incredible. big up the man rustie for the choon and big up arforcee for the upload.

  • I can't wait for the Uk Dub Fam 2 take over the world..haha. Dutch scene's growin, much 2 my liking. But we haven't produced any Skreams or anytin

  • @RimmerRobbin skream's waste dw bout it.

  • @rubadubstylee1

    are you mad?

    serious

    are you mad?

quit bumming the bristol massive, and begin to realise people like Skream lead the scene, yeah okay i saw your favourites i'm a fan of Hyetal, Peverelist, Joker and co. But serious what are you on ab, skream could outdo anyone in music production if you don't like Meta-Lick then there is his remix of Float if you don't like that then there is I give you everything.

You are so wrong and you know it!

  • @TheRealPattyPop

hahahaha Pat I swear you just pop up everywhere!

  • @doctormclennon

    ellis you found me!

i'm going back to hide with in the Youtube videos! haha

  • @TheRealPattyPop O man you did not just start a "who's a better producer than who" did you? You're on youtube mate did you realise? Hahaha

Skream is good, but if we're talking crisp, professional well produced music, there's quite a few that are on that level if not higher in my humble opinion. But that's really all I can say without making this a full blown youtube beef blad. And for the record Skream remixed the remix of Float, Zomby's version was way better.

  • @bonsaichemist

SKream's version was a little mad, but if you knew Float before, it reinvented your love for it, and you know that!

  • @TheRealPattyPop I do know the original, I'm a music fiend I can't help myself. The original was nice, Zomby's remix was nice and it should have been left at that imo, Skream jumped on the wagon like an arrogant egotistical knob. Yes he did help define the sound of dubstep I'm not taking that away from him, but sometimes the fame and glory goes to people's heads, that means I will not be paying to go to a Skream set to watch him play a set of his own tunes.

  • Rustie's really changed the face of dubstep!! Its a new style, and its insane!! Beast of a tune

  • MASSIVE TUNE SCOTLAND REPRESENT !!!!
