dont use a belt use your internal belt (core) and watch that horrible pelvic tilt.. can you say (compensation) ?? do some bridges and foam roll good luck
@savage8008 Exactly. So many people have some inane idea that when you wear a belt, you aren't training your abs. This crazy theory states that if you go from a 400lb squat with a belt to a 500lb squat with a belt, your abs did not get stronger during that process.
I pretty much ignore any advice that starts with "don't use a belt" without having any understanding about the goals and training history of a lifter.
I am unaware of the fact that I am bragging about the weight.
What specifically do you find to be the issue with the form? I got the ROM I was training for specifically in 13 of the 15 reps (upon analyzing the raw footage), so if you have something constructive to add go ahead. If you feel that this is some attempt to brag, grow up. Look at the content of my youtube profile, the purpose of this video is to analyze form and judge depth.
That's all well and good, and this is nothing to get angry about. Thing is that his ROM would have gotten him a pass at a PL competition; at the very least his hams were breaking parallel.
...he's coming so close to parallel that this can be considered the equivalent of (maybe even lower than) a 1-board press, not a 3 board... if wer're making bench analogies here
Please, sir, enlighten us as to what a perfect squat looks like. Put 405 pounds on your back, squat down until your thighs are parallel to the floor, and come back up. Do it 15 times like this guy did, and show us the video. You know what - screw it; any weight will suffice. Otherwise, please stop your armchair critiquing.
Emevas, good lifts. As you said, a hair shy of parallel; your hams hit or broke parallel on most of 'em, though. Keep working on that flexibility and gfh

@chrismcoaching The belt eliminates unnecessary stress on your back. You are still using plenty of core strength with it.

I'm not trying for thighs perfectly parallel to the floor, I'm training for knee and hip joint parallel.
