The US treasury will put this on money to make it more counterfeit-proof. The only problem will be the creepy George Washington that winks at you every few minutes.
I paid $22,87 for an iPad2-64-GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38,76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $645 which only cost me $62,81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, PennyJump . com
Holy crap! That is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Uses = Infinity. Workable puzzles on Breakfast cereals, Ads on food and groceries, it could sync with your refrigerator to tell you what groceries you need and when something is out of date, homework assignments on paper with moving graphics and video. There are so many things this could be used for it's almost, unbelievable.
@ejenglin Woah, don't go nuts. Do you really think it would be cost effective to pay for this probably very expensive material just to jazz up your cereal box, when you could just as easily use cardboard?
The point of the paper is to be as cost effective as carboard is now, so yes, in some time (not now) it will be cost effective. Also many people would rather use something besides cardboard if it can be replaced/reused/recycled in the same fashion if not a better one, which is something this is striving to do.
You're right for the present, but not for the future and the advancements of technologies, that is literally just within our grasp, to allow us to utilize epaper
great, more technology that will just become a throwaway, that's what we need. whatever awesome stuff thats inside is just going to leech into the ground.
@elfflower1989 The only problem is you need power, but I guess with a small enough chip and a way to harvest static electricity, this might be a possibility. Or then there could be a nifty iPhone attachment that you hold against the paper to give it enough power to change its image. This, coupled with the ability to send a picture to it over bluetooth or through the device, would be, to put it bluntly, FUCKING AWESOME.
