@SherwoodofRobin uh huh, I also like the "revenge does not taste sweet" part. Thanks for creating this lovely message of diversity. I was just telling someone on the weekend how I think we are all equal on God's earth, each of us has the same value, I call it the "Great Equalizer" that is found within if one cares to dig deep enough. Have a blessed day.
@SuddenSparkles I would say a specially if you live in the UK but I think it applies to most of the world. the governments have a lot to answer for.
As for the song and music its is simple BRILLAINT and very uplifting when you are feeling low. The person who put the video together done a fantastic job.

@mrhomerbojangles Yes, this is a very amazing video. I noticed someone posted something horrible on your comments section, so, in light of what it said which was hateful, I had to see who was that idiot but when I clicked on the name, the account had been disabled and I'm glad of it, probably someone complained vociferously about what damage certain posts can do. You may wish to delete and edit it. Hint: mentions "niggas" and thinks this is part of diplomatic discourse. An academic no doubt.
Interesting that there are only 'good' people in this video;with out any bad people included,(Amin,Bush,Hitler,Pol Pot,ect.),it sort of defies the song's title/line,"EVERY kind of people",make the world go round",as if there are only good people in the world. Love the song though.
@recoverfromhydro - Yes that's an interesting point, I suppose I should have called the video 'Every kind of good people' maybe? mind you...the 'Dentist' probably wont rate as good with everyone! Cheers :)
It's heartbreaking to think that these great songs/singers are now gone...and, we're stuck with so much S&^T today that tries to label itself as "music."
hi @sjoukje10 - ah! the meanings of life...what ARE the meanings of life? Who knows, who cares, lets just enjoy this life given to us but once....and try and never regret anything we do in it. Thanks for commenting, peace & good health to you my friend. Kind Regards Rob
Thanks irresistablejewel, the more I look at those pictures, the more I wonder what the worlds all about? I just wish people could learn to live in peace. If even just for one day only everyone got out of bed and said: 'right I'm gonna try and smile today'....maybe that one day would be something to look back on.
@SherwoodofRobin - A personal reflection: The photo of The Village People reminds me of how misguided and screwed up I used to be re: sexuality. A man much greater than me, Pres. Obama's ex-Pastor) told me "what makes my sin less than theirs"? That comment took me right off my foundation of sand and allowed my life to be transformed. Thank You Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr.
I've always loved this song, but I keep hearing new stuff in it! It has a great bass line, the two guitars, the percussion, the flute & steel drum playing the hook. Good stuff!
@MrMikemonumental Robert Palmer never actually wrote the song, it was Andy Fraser fomerly of Free. And I once read that Palmer had no time for all the people who told him how special and inspiring the song was to them, which really disappointed me.
It's still a great performance though and one of my favourites.
Cool song. Funkier than I remembered. How does one classify R.P.? Blue-eyed soul? Maybe. But he was suave too. I don't know. I liked one released just before he died. Dr. Zhivago's Train (or something like that).
I just browse the net for unusual pics, but that 0:51 pic you mentioned MUST be painful on a day to day basis? to me...that pic spells P.A.I.N!! ouch!

Evolution in action, friend.
"Survival of the fittest," and all that, remember?
Those who are less... fit... for their environments tend to have less... reproductive success... if you get my drift.
Their genes therefore don't get passed on, and the species is the better for it.
IOW, the problem tends to be self-correcting over time.
If you follow me.
Oh, and there's no need to shout; we're all right here.
Cheers.
