Shitty Kitty E145? I miss that approach.

Very nice view! I always practice this landing on sim. A lot of passengers get scared of the bank to the left whenever the pilots land this way.

I've always liked the challenging airports. Short runway...water at both ends...this one counts. Nice video.

I wonder why you can't hear the computer reading out elevation when he gets below 100? Anyone know what plane this is?

Great view of Flushing Meadows Park. Although I like the river visual approach better on a crystal clear day, usually October or May. If the pilot doesn't cut lower Manhattan, it is the best birds eye view of NYC-must be on right side.

I love flying that approach. Just did it tonight with a nice wind right down the pipe. Blew it once out of the trillion times I have done it so far.

Any EMB145 Pilot can tell by the cockpit noise that it is definately an Embraer 145 :) Most likely a Chautauqua Flight.

Yes, it was flown in an Embraer 145, as are the other 3 video clips I have on here of flying.

I lived under this approach path almost my whole life, that final turn over the highway is low, and must be scary for the pilots and the pax....
