I was in the ER for a high fever and a woman in the room down the hall from me had this procedure done and I never heard anyone yell so loud in agony and I've witnessed child birth o.o

I personally never knew how breast cancer actually works, this is why try to find information because it's quite interesting on how the Infection is performing.

I had a needle biopsy on my right breast 2 weeks ago. its mostly painless. if youre afraid of needles, look away when the doctor performs the procedure. I find it helpful to concentrate on my breathing when having needles stuck into me. Most of the time, you will feel the needle go in, but it wont hurt... Oh and spare a thought for guys as well as women. We can get breast cancer as well!
im 22 and doing a self breast exam came across a lump.
after a doctor's breast exam and a sonogram, im recommended to get one of these :( its a suspicious benign nodule...im scared.
does anyone know if once i get this needle biopsy and they see it isnt cancerous, is it alwaysgoing to need to be watched? the rest of my life? should i just get the entire thing removed? :/
As a man, (dont ask why am I watching this), you should go the doctor every 6 months to have your entire body check, not just breast or prostate. cancer is really a horrible disease. and we should ALWAYS TAKE ACTION when you feel lump on any part of your body. a lot of people die because of ignorance. please, I hate cancer. Its that disgusting texture that drove me off from smoking.
i've done this. yess, biopsy is much painful to be compared than the surgery. im a student. i need asap recovery right after the the surgery. so i'd decided on local anesthesia. like over 10 mins the anesthesia lost its function and i'll be injected again and again. on the peak of the surgery while pulling the lump out, the anesthesia totally lost its function and its so damn painful, i'd cried in the operation room. even after the surgery, i still tink that biopsy is much painful than d surgery
@doredoreg9 so do u have any idea on how painful it was? and today.. almost a year after the surgery, i felt another THREE lumps start growing. omg, im tired troubling my parents and worrying them ;(
I'm 18 and found a lump in my right breast (like the one they show in the video). My Grandmother's sister (On my mother's side) died from breast cancer when I was 7, and I am at risk. I am having a biopsy tomorrow. This really helped to ease my nerves and explain the procedure for me. Thank you!
my mom came home from the doctor today saying she needs one of these, im scared to death for her...i stared crying after she told me, i don't want to loose a mother.
for the women and girls that go under the procedure, God Bless .
@naNcieLauj I recovered pretty fast because they only take a small section of your breast with a lumpectomy. I'd say a few weeks, but I was up and around right away. They didn't have to remove any lymph nodes other than the sentinel node with my lumpectomy, as they didn't find any cancer cells. The sentinel node is considered the master node--which means the cancer cells would go there first. I was very lucky--thank God!
I felt a lump last night in my breast. Im so scared for my family, because my aunt is going through her 2nd round of breast cancer and my mom already had 2 rounds regarding ovarian cancer. My family has been through a lot in the past 4 years and I just dont want to be another burden on them. I thank Jesus for the blood, we will all be healed in Jesus name, Amen

@ProLifeChristian : There's a lot of blood on media-darling "Doctor" Susan Love's hoary hands. One can't admire her knowledge without admonishing her ignorance. Cancer's cause is dietary. The Western diet has systematically eliminated the bitter foods that are rich in cyanide from our diets. Botanists have grafted fruit and nut trees to produce ultra-sweet produce. The hydrogen cyanide & benzaldahyde contained within the seeds of all fruits, except citrus, will keep you cancer-free.
@ProLifeChristian : Abortion causes profound damage to the sensitive lining of the uterine wall. It's likely the cause for the rise in incidences of endometriosis. There's a book: "The Hysterectomy Hoax," that touches on the dangers of abortion to the mother. If malignant cells are merely a reflection of the natural healing process unchecked because of poor diet then one must include bitter seeds and greens in their meals.

@procommenter "cancer cause is dietary"??? wich cancer, not all types of cancer has dietary cause. Colon cancer yes it has, also gastric cancer but breast cancer, tyroid cancer, cervix cancer, skin cancer, bone, brain cancer, ovarian cancer, etc do not have dietary causation

In the 19th century the cancer rate for Americans was 3%, now it's 40%. Our great grandparents ate millet, raw spinach, flax and seeds rich in Amygdalin. Cancer can always be traced back to diet. As the bitter foods are removed from a population's diets their cancer rate rises. One-third of humanity relies on cyanide-rich bamboo as a staple food. In Vietnam, amongst other Oriental countries, cancer rates are low.
@procommenter yes but in the 19th century the life expectancies where about 45 years and now it is 75 years with more proportion of people been over 40 years. The mayority of cancers strikes over the 40 years so in the 19th century there where less people likely to have cancer than todays population. Casuality that in vietnam (a third world country with low life expectancies) have less cancer rates, so does in africa.
@procommenter Actualy raw spinacs and other vegtables are more consumed in today diet than in the 19 th century when there was more consume of carbohidrates (bread and no protein) which were lees expensives than vegtables only consumed in rural areas and for rich people. Not all cancers have the same risk factors, survivance, tratment, etc. Colon cancer has diferent risk factors than tyroid cancer or brain cancer. Even you can show how the cancer cell diferentiate from the original tissue and use that as a marker for treatment and prognosis.
@procommenter ...EJ: Is not the same a folicular tyroid cancer than an anaplasic tyroid cancer, medular tyroid cancer or a papilar tyroid cancer, those 4 are tyroid cancer but have diferent behavior, diferent managment and diferent prognosis and diferent symptoms, why? because medular cancer comes from a diferent type of cell than the papilar o folicular and all are tyroid cancer. Now i can give you examples how even in 1 organ the types of cancers is directcly proportional with its types of cel

@TheChunkyKong : MEN have to be SCREENED for CANCER AS WELL. Having a doctor push his fingers up your butt is pretty unpleasant, but Men have to get a Prostate Exam to check for Prostate Cancer. SO MEN ARE NOT OFF the HOOK. ...SORRY.
WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS IF THERE IS A MASS or LUMP??
*Prostate Biopsy*
Men go through their own dilemma of having a prostate exam. The doctor feels the prostate by inserting 2 fingers into the rectum and palpating the prostate through the rectal wall.
This question is serious. What happens if you're flat chested. Or whatever you want to call it? can you still get it? i'm a guy btw i just want to know
In DYING TO HAVE KNOWN, filmmaker Steve Kroschel [documents] the testimonies of patients, scientists, surgeons and nutritionists who testify to the [Gerson] therapy’s efficacy in curing cancer... and presents the hard scientific proof to back up their claims... the question that remains is, “Why is this powerful curative therapy still suppressed, more than 75 years after it was clearly proven to cure degenerative disease?”
i'm only 14, breast cancer runs on both sides of my family, and i found a lump and now i have to go get one of these done. i'm really scared. please pray for me because there i'm at high risk for breast cancer. thank u
@TheAttacker09 try having breast cancer run in your family!!!! im 11 im growing boobs and my mommom said theres a good chance im gonna get breast cancer!!!!
@soccergirl051 you're 11 and you're already growing boobs -__-" i hear that if you get your period before 12 theres a higher risk of cancer + if you're overweight...
@TheAttacker09 Even though I'd do this again to save my life--this was a very painful procedure. I had a core needle biopsy, it wasn't the fine needle biopsy. It punctured holes in my breast, and pulled out areas of the tumor for examination. They did 4 different punctures from 4 different areas of the tumor. It is nothing us women cannot tolerate. Women are strong! I went home, and had to wait 5 days for the results. That was the hardest part. Mine was cancer. It was 4 cm, stage IIA.
I hope all women watching this video realize that the little bit of pain to get a biopsy isn't nearly as bad as losing a loved one to cancer. All the people coming on here and complaining about pain and bruising- take some pain meds and use a cold compress. Women should be more encouraging and focused on taking care of yourselves, your loved ones will appreciate it
@JennyJennJennJenn22 I know cancer is killing people and that early detection is being taught as the key, but... There are non invasive procedures that detect cancer better. Its just not standard procedure due to the lack of demand for what is not known. Look up breast sonogram.
I had breast biopsy and man it was so painful after the i had fever for week when my doctor was doing oh God i was crying like hell and she was lil roude .........not too much but a lil.............but i dont have anything just a chack up and it came out good.
no u dont need to worry i believe my doctor was lil rude that is why it was hard for me.................may be u dont have fever or anything God bless you........
I must be one of a kind. i just had a "Core Biopsy" done, 2 days ago. I thought I was prepared and I wasn't even nervous, but when she said OK you will hear a pop noise now, and this is when it extracted the sample tissue, It almost sent me off the table, the pain was unbelievable. I can only compare it to having a branding iron stuck inside of my breast! It left my breast totally black & blue and it still hurts.
You should be fine. Just be calm, I realized stressing about it during the whole procedure just made it worse. And, if you want and your doctor will allow it, bring a friend. My mom went with me and sat next to me the whole time, and it made it easier to go through.
my god, I wouldn't allow anyone to stick a thick long needle in my breasts! What if they splints something or comes wrong? D: breasts are food for our broods!
awesome heh i wonder how many people after this video is getting their breasts checked and also just so some people know breast cancer can accur in men too =_=
in reality it looks just as "ugly" as normal subcutaneous fat in your abdomen. If you really know the inside look you see humans from another point a view :)
Great video; I'm impressed with the quality of the images and the clarity of the presentation.
What a terrific service for people who need surgery and are afraid to 'know' the graphic facts: this seems to diminish the fear. We need to have these in our doctor's offices!!!
@TechnologyWitch no one in my fam has had breast cancer and turn out that , I Mayra, 20 yrs old, had to get a biopsy because i had one of those things in my boob. It's not cancer or a tumor, it's just idk what lol. But they did that needle thing.
@TechnologyWitch : Unfortunately Women develop Breast Cancer whether it runs in the Family or Not. There are Many Women who die from Breast Cancer even though it didn't run in the Family. YOU ARE JUST AT A HIGHER RISK OF DEVELOPING BREAST CANCER if it runs in the Family. It doesn't mean you won't get it. I PRAY FOR ALL WOMEN YOUNG AND OLD. Since Breast Cancer Victims are as young as 25yrs Old.
This is a very interesting medical animation depicting various methods of conducting a breast biopsy. I didn't realize just how many methods there are.
I was in the ER for a high fever and a woman in the room down the hall from me had this procedure done and I never heard anyone yell so loud in agony and I've witnessed child birth o.o

THE CURE FOR CANCER
In DYING TO HAVE KNOWN, filmmaker Steve Kroschel [documents] the testimonies of patients, scientists, surgeons and nutritionists who testify to the [Gerson] therapy’s efficacy in curing cancer... and presents the hard scientific proof to back up their claims... the question that remains is, “Why is this powerful curative therapy still suppressed, more than 75 years after it was clearly proven to cure degenerative disease?”

@mikidee27 breast cancer at 14 is extremely rare, even with a family history. mid-to late 20's is when screening becomes important.
prognosis is very good with early detection. Even if you do end up with it later in life, you'll likely still live a long normal life.

PeeEsPee 1 year ago

Women should be more encouraging and focused on taking care of yourselves, your loved ones will appreciate it
JennyJennJennJenn22 2 years ago
@JennyJennJennJenn22 I know cancer is killing people and that early detection is being taught as the key, but... There are non invasive procedures that detect cancer better. Its just not standard procedure due to the lack of demand for what is not known. Look up breast sonogram.

It left my breast totally black & blue and it still hurts.
johnnys12bsb 2 years ago
Yeaah, I got a ultrasound-guided core biopsy done a few months ago. I was really nervous, but it really didn't hurt, just a little bit of pressure.

Justmebrowsin 2 years ago
You should be fine. Just be calm, I realized stressing about it during the whole procedure just made it worse. And, if you want and your doctor will allow it, bring a friend. My mom went with me and sat next to me the whole time, and it made it easier to go through.

Great video; I'm impressed with the quality of the images and the clarity of the presentation.
What a terrific service for people who need surgery and are afraid to 'know' the graphic facts: this seems to diminish the fear. We need to have these in our doctor's offices!!!
