Love em. Had my fabi for 14 years. Died via stomach ulcers put him down. He was so easy to train. So loving. the moment you get home they start sniffing, crying. They're always happy to see you. Sad when you leave. Even when he was sick he was so happy to greet you when you woke up or came home from a long day. I Love dogs.

I miss my mini pin. i got him on vacation while at my grandparent's in Poland, but had to head back to the US and couldn't take him with me. 2 months later i hear that he ran away, apparently looking for me. I wish i still had him, great dog. i have a siberian husky right now though :D

No. He was left on my family's farm with a bunch of other dogs and other family members that he had also bonded with.

The gate was always open and he would run off into the fields to take care of his buisness and then he'd come home like 5 minutes later. This is POLAND, not the UNITED STATES, where dogs will run away when they have the chance. In Poland they are bred and taught to stay at home. The first week I had him he left in the morning and the gate was open and he came back when I woke up because of instinct. Where a dog is raised and bred also affects if it will run away or not.

Bud, all i know is there are too many instances of min pins running out of the house and getting hit by cars. It's the nature of the breed that they are prone to running away and getting lost..its how i got mine. Yeah sure maybe your dog doesnt bolt or but even if the dog is trained i wouldnt take that chance. and no im not from USA

Its cool to see them standing side by side, gives you a laugh sometimes, but everyone at the dog park thinks that the min pin is the dobermans puppy! lol My min pins ears stood naturally, but that doesn't make him look like a doberman pup IMO.
