  • Sumptuous is the word !

Magique, non ? Transformer un tube niais de Sonny & Cher en cette merveille...

  • Marianne - I don't care with you I can be wrong. This video is fucking sumptuous! Thank you so much.

  • Marianne Faithful looks such a beautiful, tragic shipwreck, as if lost somewhere without any hope of getting the love she's singing about. Her eyes flash once towards the camera - and look totally vulnerable. Bowie survived the same druggie world by keeping a sense of humour apparently. Look at the way he shakes his - what's he wearing? - black angel wings on his chest? He's gotta be sending himself up. Wearing the costumes they're wearing, what ELSE could they be doing? An odd time that was.

  • @zephyrquartz there is a lot to analyse about this performance but its is CAMP beyond words and still with a tongue in thier cheeks Bowie and Marianne play it to the hilt.

  • Super

  • geweldig!!!!

  • Ela esta tao "alta" que faz David parecer um anjinho. lol

  • Essa mulher tá é muito doida.

    heheh

  • @kalini e mesmo assim, maravilhosa.

  • it was 1973 to be exact.. in London's Marquee theatre.. Marianne was VERY VERY HIGH!!!

  • I remember watching the original in 73 and thinking how odd the times were. Yet, in retrospect, how innocent.

  • Yes! thank you for this. Thanks very much! Am enjoying this. Mmmm. Couple of Guinnessesses hic! here.... and it's absolutely bliss! gwynfyd! XX

  • Wonderful clear video! Thank you!

    Those thigh-high boots are orgasmic...

  • Ziggy Stardust and Marianne,... cool, thank u very

  • WOW how did you get this? it's great

  • What on earth is lovely Marianne doing singing with that dick David Bowie, pity he did't go to mars!

  • who is she?

  • She is Marianne Faithful, formerly Mick Jagger's girlfriend (and a singing star in her own right). This clip is from a late seventies "Midnight Special" called "The 1980 Floor Show." This song carries several levels of irony, from the obvious parody of "The Sonny and Cher Show" that ended weekly with "I Got You Babe, to the subtler reference of Bowie's alleged affair with Mick Jagger.

  • thank you very much!! :D

  • It's definitely not late 70's. 73 or 74 at the latest...and where's the reference to an affair with Mick Jagger?
