If a foreign invader like Vietnam or Malaysia attacks the Philippines, the estimate length of battle maybe around 3 days and the Philippines will fell easily. We have no hardware to match up with them! Small arms won't defend us!! It will end up as a guerrilla warfare.

The philippines could afford to spend USD 12B to equip the AFP for 15 years. a dedicated budget for our military should be paid in advanced to a country which in turn provide and supplies us our requirements but diffinitely not involving one government or military officials unless he is free of corrupt practices. a war scientist can lead us when acquiring tactical armaments. in this way, we will be free of threats from our neighbors...
ultimately, the military should be depoliticized...

if we want to stand in front of our adversaries in the future, we must equip our AF with warfares that will make aggressors think ten times before commiting act of war. and the best way to do this is to turn to friendly nations for arms supplies. the philippines coul afford to equip its navy with russian subs and ships. airforce with migs and sukhois plus missiles, the army with Tank and PCs plus unlim ited supplies of amunitions and its defenses with witty and blind diplomats with big balls.

What we have to proud of, US Military aid? Kng hindi tayo bibigyan ng US or other countries w/ all their scrapped..til now were still using this so called flying coffins in the Air. World War I&II Vietnam era aircrafts. this aircraft should be put in a static air show collection or in aircraft Museum. In fairness to PAF Pilots they're excellent if given a chance but is sad to see them piloting a flintstone world aircraft. My question is whers the money allocated for the AFP modernization?
