If this is the surgery im thinking it is, where they put the device in just to make your stomache compacity smaller. really not a bad thing at all, alot of gals over weight stretch their comapacity way to much and over eat. not a bad thing to get atall. anyways:) you have a nice body, but i hope you continue to eat right an weight lift an all for the complete benefit of health, bones, and healthy mind:)
Hey you look great now! You are really going to be awesome when you get to your goal..I had gastric bypass 7 years ago. I started at 273 pounds. I got down to as low as 133(which was too small for me)..I now fluctuate between 145-155..good luck to you. If you need any support I'll be there for you :-)

I hope ur recovery is well and i understand in some ways what u went through i had gained weight started having r knee issues- tried working out and it just got worse, so it quit working out. then a few yrs later had back prob ( always had back prob- from being heavy up top) and ended up having 2 surgeries in 7 mnths cause my disc keeps herniating. I started at 240 and now at 215 and only way lost was from watching what i eat but it SUCKS cause i know if i could exerscise i could do more... :(

I'm a female and I think you have a great looking body!! If anything you can tighten up if that's what you want BUT i think you look nice at the time you did the recording!!

I'm kind of disappointed in you for copping out and getting a surgery for weight loss. I remember you doing videos back in the day saying you were working out and eating right to try to lose weight. I think people these days really think surgery is the answer to everything instead of the correct (harder) but better for your body way to do things. Eating right and exercise is the only true fix for having a healthy fit body.

Hey Candie, Congrat's on making the step! They pressure on your chest is the "restriction". I had my surgery on 9/26/09 and it felt like someone was sitting on me :-). Anyway, once you heal, you will get that feeling whenever you overeat or eat too fast. As soon as you feel it, you'll know to stop. Check out "usalbgirl" and "smajors44" they've both been through it and give great advice. Wishing you continued success.

I am SO happy to hear that everything went well with your surgery. As for the scars, I say just use cocoa butter or something to lighten them. Otherwise I wouldn't do anything drastic. I was very conscious of them at first but now they are just a part of me. Prayers for much success as your journey begins.

I was scared to fall asleep because I thought something bad would happen. lthought I would die! Everytime I dozed off, I would realize I was falling asleep and then jerk myself out of it!... so possibly you were expericing some anxiety...just a thought. Praise God for your recovery !! I am doing the HCG Diet...I was scheduled for the bariatric surgery and decided not to do it and go with a different option....
congrats hun. i was definitely praying for you when you first posted your were having the surgery. also for the scars i hear mederma is great [but i just read good old petro jelly is better]. also i've tried bio oil for the scarring on my face due to breakouts but it's good for scarring as well. i know for a fact raw shea butter is good. and i've heard rave reviews about natural black soap being great for scars as well. they also have many other great benefits. hope that helps! blessings
Praise God gurl! Recovery can be tricky and as long as you follow through with the regimen (after care) you will be good to go! The area that you pointed to just may be gas/bloatedness. As long as you're following your diet, you should be good to go! Oooh I'm so excited to watch you along your journey of FABULOUSNESS!!

Girl u looked good already!!! All praises to God for blessing you through your surgery and recovery! I am fluffy also, alot fluffier than you - I am praying that I can have the surgery one day too! I have an idea of how you probably feel - especially when ppl say - awwh u have such a pretty FACE! that is a compliment, but it feels like HALF of a compliment... anyway, God Bless on your journey!

I'm so glad everthing is going good for you! I at one point in my life was having huge amounts of anxiety. I was scared to fall asleep because I thought something bad would happen. lthought I would die! Everytime I dozed off, I would realize I was falling asleep and then jerk myself out of it!... so possibly you were expericing some anxiety...just a thought. I went to my first initial consult for the rny last week and I was wonering what is the diff between the lapband and what u had? God bless

im happy u had such a successfu surgery . but u aint need it . . ur shape is amazing and ur no where near big . . atleast to me . . u loook perfectly fine ,. . but good luck healingg .

you should def take ur bandages off. the doctor took mines off within 4 days and told me to shower .. they need air... i use anti-bacterial soap

congrats hun. i was definitely praying for you when you first posted your were having the surgery. also for the scars i hear mederma is great [but i just read good old petro jelly is better]. also i've tried bio oil for the scarring on my face due to breakouts but it's good for scarring as well. i know for a fact raw shea butter is good. and i've heard rave reviews about natural black soap being great for scars as well. they also have many other great benefits. hope that helps! blessings

Praise God gurl! Recovery can be tricky and as long as you follow through with the regimen (after care) you will be good to go! The area that you pointed to just may be gas/bloatedness. As long as you're following your diet, you should be good to go! Oooh I'm so excited to watch you along your journey of FABULOUSNESS!!

A friend of mine did it 6 years ago and she went from a 30/32 to a size 10 ...She has remained at that size for the past 4 years good luck.......You are in my prayers...
