@gnulinuxman Can't agree more! Especialy, TBP is probably to me his most favorite albums and it's really sad that many fans consider it to be one of his worst simply because of all wrong and stupid reasons.
I see it like this... This was the late 1990s and he was tring something new, he was still searching for different forms of pop music and this album does just that. Once the 2000s came, he settled down and began making music resembling his older days. He was just trying to go with the trends, so I see this as an experiment but also as a great album for it's time. Kind of resembles The One as well.
I wish I was there for this tour. Well, let's see, this tour was a compilation of the 90s for him: Simple life/ The one was sung; Believe/ Made in England; Something...Way you look tonight and others from Big Picture. All so wonderful, wish I was there. But the 2000s brought awesomeness to the table as well, I saw Captain and kid tour which saw that album, I want love, and believe in the setlist.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzwake me when its over....this aint in the league of his best work...like musical prozac...a good tune to go to the can to take a leak and grab a beer and a dog ..then head back to the seat by the time he plays a good song
Holy Smokes! He actually played this live! I really like this song-- though I know a lot of people who aren't real fond of this song or its album. Yes, the production on Big Picture is too gauzy, but there are some really good songs on it.
I completely agree. I love the album.. it's very dated even just for 12 years passing (which doesn't seem that long!) This album would have been so neat to hear very simple and organic!!
Always a fan of this song and "If The River Can Bend".
Take the time, listen to the lyrics, that is the art as much as the music is.

Who HASN'T felt like this at some point? Very beautiful song.
I truly think his less-popular stuff is some of his best work. It's too profound for most people to appreciate. ;)

I especially like how you can hear John Jorgenson at 3:45, whereas he was mixed out of the song on the album in favor of Guy Babylon's keyboards.

A rarely heard song, which is a shame as it's a great song from what I consider to be a great album!
