Hey Koko - I am lovin' this hairstyle...I bet it lasts for a LONG time!! I'm going to try this the next time I retighten my locs...I noticed I can only do styles like this on freshly re-tightened locs. Otherwise, I would do the flat-twists with like 2 rows of locs vs. 1 row....love the color too...the earrings are FLY...and lovin' the shells. Was going to pick up some like that but haven't gotten around to it. Best wishes on moving....

Hi KOKO I've had my locs since FEB 08. I've been told not to color my locs right now but I've colored and dyed since I started. So why not now ? she told me b/c they will start to look raggedy. How long after you started locing before you colored your hair and also how do you get your color even? You know how the new growth is always lighter then the rest of the locs. I have had that experience.
